Amazing - it’s great that Townsend have deals with Germany, USA and others so that sales from her official store count towards the countries charts they are sent too, certainly have ‘Disco’ a boost in the USA.

I’m sure that as the picture disc was a store exclusive there would have been some copies going to fans in Germany? Which in turn counted for the German charts rather than just being ‘lost’ sales

It really feels like Impossible Princess has finally got its time to shine this week, it has waited so long for a moment like this and im just over the moon by how well it has done, i know it will fall out next week but getting a new top 5 peak is just so deserving and worth celebrating.

Not sure if it’s been expanded now but the last update from them stated -

 

Its sales are currently also chart eligible in the US, Canada, UK, Eire, Germany, France, New Zealand and Australia.

That makes it 14 top 5 albums in total for Kylie. Ya it would be lovely to get those bottom 2 a top 10 peak but if it was to happen with Kylie Christmas it would tie in with the upcoming vinyl and it looks more like can it go top 75 rather than top 10. Hopefully lets get to it gets the vinyl release in all out style like IP and if released on a quiet week could go top 10 but im not sure that will ever happen.

Oh been spinning the marble vinyl, sound is brilliant and it’s a very nice vinyl….colour and marble effect spot on.

 

I do think they missed a trick with not incorporating the hologram front cover in one of the editions….it could quite easily have been the bonus art print in a similar sheen they used for the Disco extended vinyl (which BTW is a gorgeous double gatefold, packaged very well and now a steal on Amazon).

 

 

Love that the picture discs are shipping now for everyone and not delayed into November which was originally thought I think?

 

Hopefully as it was available for so long and sought after it will have a fair few sales - is it too much to ask for a 2nd week in the Top 100?
