Narrowly missing out on a place in the top 5 is the JXL remix of Elvis' 1968 track 'A Little Less Conversation'! The song was originally featured in the Elvis-starring film Live a Little, Love a Little but only managed to peak at #69 in the US at the time. Fast forward 34 years and Dutch DJ/producer JXL was granted permission to remix 'Conversation' after being inspired by the original version's usage in the 2001 movie Ocean's Eleven. The remix topped the UK chart for 4 weeks in the summer of 2002 - sandwiched between Pop Idol alumni Will Young and Gareth Gates. Furthermore, the remix was re-released in 2005 and reached #3! It topped the charts across Europe and Australia but only managed to peak at #50 in the US - although still 19 places higher than the original! It ended up as the UK's 31st biggest-selling single of the decade!

Elvis gets too much hate on here, A Little Less Conversation is a fantastic remix.
