Out in fifth place is Will Young's 2003 chart topper 'Leave Right Now'. The track stayed at the top for two weeks in December 2003 and in turn became Will's fourth and to date final number one single! The song performed modestly outside of the UK but notably charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 (at #81) for the first time since its release 7 years previously after it was used as the exit song for the ninth season of American Idol and Will even performed on the show! I've grown to really appreciate this song. It's beautifully written and simple yet effective - much like its accompanying video! I remember the music channels ALWAYS had this on which might be why I never gave it much love back in the day. :lol:
