whew this round was... not great.

 

Disturbia and New Romantics are all time faves that I play all the time :heart: Disturbia is my fave RiRi track and New Romantics deserved to be massive! NMSS is also a bop that I always forget how good it is until I listen, though in a stronger round (like last round), it would've been v. vulnerable.

 

YDMC is an 8/10 bop and is lucky at the strength of this round to come 4th, still a great song tho *.* I've never been too massive on the Xtinct version of Do What U Want (I always much preferred the original but obvs that's tainted now) but its enough of a bop to make my votes. The other 5 songs did nothing for me oops :/ idek which one would be 6th ahaha

I’m the opposite of Sam aha, every song was at least an 8 for me :’) I was not expecting Gaga and Britney to be so low, but Kylie and Pink were new to me and I really liked them, P!nk was so close to getting her first points from me...but not close enough </3 x

I found this round very hard again. Kylie's song is one of my fave in original form but that remix wasn't really adding anything and I just didn't know what to do with it (like do I vote because I love the original or vote for the remix and after talking with myself back and forth I made my judgement based on the remix).

Just going to drop this iconic BRITs performance for y'all to change your mind on the remix:

 

I thought this was going to be really brutal but I actually found it quite easy after listening to them.

Although I like all the submitted songs none of the other 5 were on the same level of catchiness as these 5 for me. Special mentions for Kylie and Gaga though they are both fab songs, and I prefer the Christina version of Do what you want to the original one.
