I remember she even added the collaboration with 6ix9ine to her album midweek during release week in a desperate attempt to get more streams

I don't really understand why the music industry/music consuming public are turning a blind eye to him? Most of cases of abuse or criminal activity seem to result in that person getting cancelled... is it not bad enough yet or am I missing something?

It's not even the follow-up in that sense, 6ix9ine and Nicki already made a second song together called Mama - it was meant to have a music vid too but it got scrapped as there was a shooting incident during filming.

Unbelievable.

I mean, someone being 'cancelled' implies that they were ever unproblematic in the first place. 6ix9ine's controversies predate his career as a mainstream artist, he's been cancelled since day one. The crossover between people who listen to 6ix9ine and people who care about cancel culture is presumably very small if not nonexistent lol ~

Also regarding the charity angle of this song... they've said 'a portion of' proceeds are going to the charity so they're not even pretending to be sincere about that :')

This is all very true :( it does baffle me though and my heart sinks anytime a song of his is in an Instagram story or Tik Tok etc.

People seem to fetishize disgusting behaviour - the same happened with XXXTENTACION, YNW Melly and will continue to happen going forward. I don't understand it myself but my moral compass is still ticking I guess!

I continue to be disappointed in Nicki. Ugh.

I would say I'm disappointed but I'm not surprised given the allegations of her husband and brother, seems she likes to surround herself with predators.

Nicki ruins just about every song she does anyways but this is ridiculous. She’s desperate to stay relevant and get hits. He’s 1000x worse though. Best we can do is just not stream it though! Is there a high chance of a US #1 his last track didn’t get there and it’s not like Nickis used to getting #1s either she got her first #1 by jumping on a song what was already hugely popular.
