July 18, 20204 yr Right top three have gone through. Although I wouldn't have predicted Miz Cracker to be the one with the most wins to get through to the final! She made the stage like it was her own show and it's great to see her when she's in her element. She was also right up there on the first episode so she's had a very impressive showing, probably would've been bottom two for snatch game based on the critiques but it wasn't a carcrash at least! I liked that it was a comedy challenge this late on as it really exposes the queens and can get even the most confident queens nervy! I thought Jujubee was also great and I think having Ross as the 'coach' was not great as he doesn't understand anything other than straight forward jokes, it gave off the impression Jujubee wasn't doing a good job when she was quite funny even in rehearsal! Same goes for Blair that her one-liners were decent but not great, it gave her the impression she was going to walk it when in reality they were setting her up for a fail unfortunately! Another fun runway also - I think Jujubee might have been my favourite :o All four were good but I agree it's not completely out-of-the-box for Shea and her butterfly reveal thing earlier this season was more freaky imo! Lip-sync was the worst we've had this season imo - Kennedy should not have been brought in for such a low-energy song, similar to Alyssa earlier this season that she seemed reserved like the producers told her to let the competitor win. Also Miz Cracker's weakest lip sync so far but I think that's due to the song choice more than anything, she did what she could!
July 18, 20204 yr Pretty expected result, although Cracker having the strongest track record I would not have predicted going into this season. I actually feel like I would have preferred an AS2/3 format or challenges for this season, set up in advance to specifically benefit one competitor. This has felt like the pendulum swinging too far in the other direction; a real gauntlet for Shea to run where she's out of her comfort zone nearly every week despite otherwise showing herself to be an excellent queen in nearly every way. Nearly no challenge here has played to her strengths which is such a switch from her own season. This ep otherwise felt like a bit of a no brainer. Blair was clearly the worst track record. I did see online rumblings that a lot of her this season was edited out though because nearly everything the other queens were saying about her - that she was funny all the time, the judges loved her etc. - I really don't think we've been seeing!
July 18, 20204 yr What an awful awful awful lipsync. Probably the worst since No Scrubs? Kennedy is so high energy why would they bring her back for a country song- Kennedy has also said in an interview that she HATES Fancy by Reba McEntire too so it’s a bit peak that was her lipsync song. Someone more comedy maybe or more emotive could have killed this song much better- Juju would have been fantastic I bet- considering it was fairly similar to Black Velvet
July 18, 20204 yr Author WHY would they bring Kennedy Davenport for a Reba song? :lol: I feel like they've really wasted the lipsync assassin thing, they should have matched the songs to assassin each week, it feels really anticlimactic when you get an All Star winning and a "legendary" (although some of them have been choices, still x) contestant coming back, but it ends up being a meh lipsync that doesn't really suit either queen. Fancy is one of my all time fave songs and I feel it could be a really good campy story lipsync but it just wasn't good :( It's so sad when you think "ooh that's a perfect lipsync song" and it just ends up being paltry because it's not the right queens for it. As for the actual challenge, Cracker MURDERED that, buried it, and resurrected it to kill it again. It just shows what a star she is when she is in her lane and isn't in her own head, she didn't miss a single beat of that routine! I never thought she'd be my winner and whilst I want Jujubee to win and I adore her so much, Cracker has really worked to deserve it. Shea is the most flawless and fierce queen but she hasn't been at her best for much of this season, this week was decent and ofc she smashed her two wins, but equally she fully deserved the bottom for the room challenge and she was lucky not to be there for the SheMZ one too. Next week's challenge seems perfect for her though so I wouldn't count her out! I'll be happy whoever won out of the 3 to be honest. Blair has been lowkey really unlikeable this season, she seems to only bring out her friendship with Cracker when it comes to Cracker having the power to vote her off. The way she switches from sour and bitter thinking Cracker was going to have her lipstick to "girl i love you yas girl xxx" when she saved her is so transparent. She is no doubt talented, but clearly was out of her depth amongst the likes of this top 3 and Alexis as well!
July 18, 20204 yr the right winner for this week and right top 3 finalists. That lipsync was terrible lol, seriously, it looked as if it was setup because Kennedy all she was doing just swirling her cape!!! And right top 3 finalists :wub:. I am loving the fact that there is no front runner, they are all up for the crown. Going into the show I was sure Shea was going to get it but she stalled last 3-4 episodes and now it's anyones game. With that being said, I am ok with any of them winning. Overall I found all three of them OK but nothing extraordinary!!!
July 18, 20204 yr I preferred both Shea and Juju's sets to Cracker's. I feel the way they edited it made it seem like Cracker's was funniest. If you added a few "Audience laughs" to Juju & Shea's sets, like they did for Cracker's, they would've come across better. Juju was my favourite on the Runway and Cracker's look was great too! Shea's was pretty safe for her and Blair's was decent. The lip sync though.... :lol: Wasted Kennedy on such a song. It was nice to see her back though. The top 3 are the right 3. Surprised Cracker has 3 wins. I'm a little bitter about the way they've changed it this season. Juju's track record would basically be flawless if they kept it top 2. I think she would've been top 2 at least 4 times (Get a Room, Snatch Game, The Charles Family Backyard Ball & this week's episode). Cracker would've been top 2 3 times (All 3 of her win weeks) and Shea top 2 only 2 times (her two wins).
July 19, 20204 yr Author Yeah agreed it's just weird and not consistent either, like week 1 when everyone was there there was only a bottom 2 and then when there's 6 left they just randomly have a bottom 5, then other times it's bottom 3? :lol: I think they're probably trying to cause drama by blurring track records, I think they were going for a potential "Shea/Juju have been in the bottom 3 times now11!1" shock elimination when really Shea only has one "actual" bottom placement and Juju has none. It just feels off that for example Alexis or Juju would have got a joint win for Snatch Game but they now have a bottom instead. I get that they're trying to switch things up with the one win and lipsync assassin, but it's not like they've really been worth it. Yvie and I guess Monet are the only ones who had any point being there. Maybe it just should have been a week 1 twist or mid-season twist instead of every week.
July 19, 20204 yr So happy for Cracker, really hoping that there's a chance she bats it out the park next week too and can take the crown :wub: Shea's been pretty underwhelming and flat the past couple of weeks (Snatch Game aside) for me, so while she's such a pure, nice queen, I don't think I'd have her winning the whole thing now.

July 23, 20204 yr I'm sure when I've been up super early on a Saturday before (i.e. before 8am) it's not been there, but any time I've woken up after 9/10am it's been there.
July 23, 20204 yr Author Netflix always updates at 8am, no matter what the show is, I believe. I know Season 12 went on at 8am because one time someone at work forgot their keys and I was the nearest person to drop some in and they rang me to open at 7am and let them borrow them, I walked back, made breakfast etc. and it was 8 then it was on there.
