I don’t think Jessica Wild is an odd pick at all- she was a fan fave at the time, won a challenge and placed high many times. There’s been many queens with a lot worse track records on the show who’ve been on All Stars- Coco, Milk, Gia, Farrah, Monique, INDIA, Mayhem, Blair etc.

I actually think that's a pretty decent cast if true, a lot of them like Jan, Plastique, Scarlett, Nina and maybe Sonqiue stand out as people who could do a lot better on AS than they did on their original season to me. It also doesn't have an obvious top 3 like this season did so it might be more interesting week to week

Some of them aren't that bad...Silky can Fcuk right off though

I've got such drag race fatigue that I don't know if I can even be bothered watching if it's too soon lmao

 

It won't be aired until after Season 13 most likely. Which would be be next year sometime I would assume.

 

Also, there're rumours of a returning queen from AS2 to AS6. It's likely Adore, but rumours have also said Ginger Minj + Coco.

Was really hoping both Laganja and Peppermint would be there.

 

However I don't think it's a bad cast as such. Jessica Wild is fab. Will be good to see Sonique on there as she was great on the Xmas special.

 

Silky I didn't hate like everyone else did, however she does seem like a weak link here

 

Dida is one of the best ever lip syncers but I don't see her as a winner.

 

Yara, Plastique, Jan, Nina, Asia and Scarlett could all stand a chance of winning as they all have been robbed in one way or another for me.

I don't think that's a bad cast at all. I just wish they'd give the franchise a little time to breathe and let people get excited about the return of an Allstars series. Like they should be a much bigger event and only run maybe once every 2/3 seasons of standard Drag Race. I think it's still quite early for the S11/12 girls to come back and considering that's half the cast it's a bit frustrating. Even if it's going to be shown after S13 that's still not much time between those series to let the queens grow and get known by the fanbase.

 

 

Praying that Silky is out first

I wouldn't mind a Silky redemption - she got backlash for the way she was on S11 and I think it got to her, so for her to comeback so soon would make me think she's changed her ways to avoid the same backlash. She might not be the most gifted but at least a bit more tolerable? Plus she is an entertaining oddball personality regardless if she's begging for the attention or not.

 

I'm a bit meh for Sonique as she was pretty dull on that Christmas special and Dida Ritz was not exactly the best at Drag Race even if she was a nice personality. At a guess I'd say Asia is the most likely contender for the win. She had some incredible out-of-the-box runways on S10 which went under the radar imo and she was a stronger contender than Eureka and Kameron back then.

Silky is hilarious and made her season for me :wub: like her I couldn’t stand Yvie. Although I agree it’s too soon.

She had some good runways but also some real stinkers, and wasn't otherwise great at much - not a great performer, iffy dancer, decent at comedy when she was reading a script - but that just relied on having the best role.

 

I would expect one of the S11 girls to win if that's the cast, and for Jan to top 3/4. Of course, it's possible that Asia has really improved her craft, but we know from experience that All Stars largely operates to crown a) fan favourites b) who survive the twists that season has. Was Asia ever a fan favourite, is the question. I don't know - I wasn't watching S10 as it aired.

Asia’s deffo a fan favourite- most people i’ve seen on social media have her down as the one to beat! She’s also just been given her own YouTube series from World of Wonder

I never remember getting the Asia love at the time - I get she was talented in making garments etc, but from what I saw she didn't have the personality to really back up the rest.

 

Looking at that list though, I would say that Asia was the one to beat as Ru and co clearly loved her.... those Butterflies though :cry:

Yeah, I echo the sentiment that the list looks like the bottom of the barrel filler queens!!!

 

Perhaps Nina West and to some extend Platique and Asia have some All Stars on them but overall it looks like a season with filler queens.

 

My ideal cast for next All Stars would be:

Feels to me more like they might invite her back in order to portray her badly as a revenge for speaking out, like they did to Phi Phi in AS2 - or to have her lose again, like what happened with Katya or Shangie.

Well she has just got her own WowPresents show so she’s clearly not hated by production

 

Rumours saying that Nina West, Silky and Ginger Minj are all on this season so maybe a big girl winner will be pushed? If anyone’s a big girl winner we deserve its Widow :wub:
