The thing is you always get the odd obscure entry in the top 40 as there is a lot of weekend sales data missing. It won't be top 100 by Friday. Also the First Look chart is never accurate with all the data missing I always take it with a pinch of salt, I prefer it as it was with Radio 1 doing a quick countdown on a Monday evening. Remember when the Rolling Stones charted.

July 26, 20205 yr The Little Mix forum told me that Little Mix would easily debut top 10?Before the announcement of a surprise Taylor Swift album drop though? (I personally would've still guessed top 10 debut - but would've been less confident about it's debut there) A lot of Little Mix fans are Taylor fans, so unlike Break Up Song where their attention wasn't divided, I think a lot of Little Mix and Taylor fans didn't spam 'Holiday' as much as they would've done had Taylor not released. Even I didn't. I split my time between the two. I honestly can't call where LM will land now. We'll just have to see throughout the week and see how the little/lack of Spotify main playlists support affects it. You can quote this, but honestly, I'm still really confident in it being a smash for them. Not even this results has deterred my way of thinking and it's so bizarre. Usually I'd be a bit gutted, but I don't feel like that at all. Especially as and when the weather improves and they start rising on Airplay and streaming playlists as well as their video etc.. and I assume some kind of actual performances of this at some point.

I don't think it would have a massive impact but they're definitely appealing to a similar demographic and there's only so many hours in the day. It's not that ridiculous a suggestion.
