August 24, 20205 yr Absolutely SCREAMING at Mabel adding Tick Tock to her album :') I know they won't but surely they have be considering doing something about this? Here for High Expectations to beat 21's sales because she eventually adds every song ever recorded onto it x It really makes me struggle to take her seriously as an artist (which to be fair, I already do anyway).
August 24, 20205 yr It wouldn’t be as bad for me if Mabel had released a deluxe edition of her album on CD with all these songs on. But to multiple times now add extra tracks on one by one just doesn’t feel right. If she can do that then Ariana should’ve done the same with thank u, next and added boyfriend (her song boyfriend as they both have one ), Don’t Call Me Angel, Stuck with U and Rain on Me

August 24, 20205 yr So James Dean Bradfield is only just top 90 midweek when he was number 3 for last week. Would this be the biggest drop from such a height or has there been a bigger drop than this?
August 24, 20205 yr But this is making the album charts a mockery If you look at which albums have been streamed the most on Apple, proper streams not playlists, Mabel is not top 1500... while for instance NAS is #4 but then who's above who on the album charts? Mabel should be in the playlist charts not the album charts it's just wrong that the #4th most streamed album is beaten by an album not even top 1500

The album charts should be what albums as whole albums are being streamed as a whole and not dictated by playlists. There’s loads of albums in the albums charts what should be way lower if they done the charts fairly and other albums what should be way higher. It’s got worse much lately :(
August 24, 20205 yr So James Dean Bradfield is only just top 90 midweek when he was number 3 for last week. Would this be the biggest drop from such a height or has there been a bigger drop than this? Sleaford Mods - All That Glue went 1-OUT on the same measure earlier this year.
August 24, 20205 yr Fantastic sales for The Killers! Would be great if they can actually top the debut of their previous album. So James Dean Bradfield is only just top 90 midweek when he was number 3 for last week. Would this be the biggest drop from such a height or has there been a bigger drop than this? #3 was his midweek position, he was #6 at the end of the week last week. These kind of drops are very commonplace these days for fanbase acts. It can really only be a matter of time before we see a #1 album get this kind of second week drop (we have had 2 #2 albums this year (Sports Team and The Streets) that dropped well outside the top 40 in their second week)
August 24, 20205 yr Didn't expect The Killers to break 40k sales all week never mind by Monday, fantastic stuff and they are a Radio 2 band now as well. If their vinyl was available they would be on for 65-70k opening and mostly from cds I imagine as the singles aren't setting the Spotify charts alight.
August 24, 20205 yr ^not sure about how many sales it translates to, but it's been #1 on Apple Music since release (just dropped to #2 earlier)
August 24, 20205 yr Didn't realise it was doing as well there, I was thinking of the singles positions on Spotify.
August 24, 20205 yr Great sales for The Killers. I was only expecting them to sell around 35k all week so over 40k midweek is fantastic.
August 24, 20205 yr The Killers coming for biggest first week sales of year so far then. Thankfully that Gaga chart battle never happened then!
August 24, 20205 yr And with another album next year, they could do it 2 years in a row! (though I'm sure Ed or Adele will release at some point )
August 24, 20205 yr The Killers coming for biggest first week sales of year so far then. Thankfully that Gaga chart battle never happened then! Were the Killers originally meant to release on the same week as Gaga? If so, what was Gaga’s first week for reference?
August 24, 20205 yr Yes Killers! So bloody happy. Deserved as it's a great album. How do they do in the US? 35-40k
August 24, 20205 yr Were the Killers originally meant to release on the same week as Gaga? If so, what was Gaga’s first week for reference? 52,907 first week sales
August 24, 20205 yr I knew it would be on High Expectations as soon as I saw she was a lead not a feature  her label are smart i guess?!!
August 24, 20205 yr Wow at the killers sales, I wasnt even expecting them to do those sales for the week, really happy with this.they should have problem going gold with the album at all. Edited August 24, 20205 yr by Feel_The_Fever
August 24, 20205 yr Interesting to note that about 1/3 of BTS' streams on Spotify were discounted on suspicion of being attempts of chart manipulation by their fans, so there has been some discounting of their sales for the purposes of the chart.
