I’ll do odds for the final but the front runners to me sound like FARC, Cor Lupus, Oslol, Skall, Kluminican Republic and Wholune, possibly also Tartford, Altyr, Bhangra (fingers crossed!) and maybe Terra Avium.

 

Summericia, Numayania and Singerpurear could be dark horses and before seeing the Plug result I’d have thought Caerfyrddia was on for a good result, it’s lovely and hardly deserved three mehs!

In terms of winners, I think FARC is most likely to my ears. I'd also put US of Jack, Aeroche, Altyr Muunilinst, Greenfroze and maybe Summericia as a dark horse as contenders. I'd also throw myself into the mix trying to manifest some good things!

 

Also shout out to Skall and Republic of Adonia who I think will do well, but I'd be very surprised if they won!

General consensus was that there was a good song amongst it all, but it was mixed really badly that it sounded quite poor in comparison to other entries. It was enough to put me off enjoying it so I think the same might happen to some other voters.

To be fair, the songs I'm thinking of are often actually rather different genres! They just all have that stabby synth sound that draws your attention in. First noticed it on Northern Lights and haven't been able to stop whenever you get a hit that has even a bit of that element - normally because I'm rather into it.
