8 Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent

The contestant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire last night had no idea who recorded this album.

Even Jeremy Clarkson thought it was Robbie Williams.

I wouldn't have known either.

Fantastic news about 'Perfect' for the Man City of the UK Charts going to ACR.

There are plenty of people out there who aren't music fans. I'm sure a lot of my friends won't have known that, even though they might have heard of Lewis Capaldi.

🤞🤞 that BMTH hold on, which I'm guessing will be touch and go
Part of me wants BMTH to stay top 40 just for the variety. Part of me wants them to miss out because I don't want YUNGBLUD to have a top 40 hit. (Also the song isn't that great, certainly not a patch on BMTH's previous 2 top 40 hits xx)
Dermot Kennedy is safe for top 40 but would love if he could stay top 30, sigala and james arthur i thought would be closer to the top 20 today.
The £1.99 signed CDs doing wonders for Dermot - they are still available so he could grab a few more sales and it’s still in the iTunes Top 10

Sorry Bré x

Giants looking like it could outpeak Power Over Me, when it originally looked like it had peaked at #59 two months ago. Guess that's largely down to Spotify being so late to push songs like this.
Giants is also on an ITV advert although that could be helping its paid sales more than streams. Not like paid sales count for *that* much but it’s good exposure for it :)
What if Ed's label decided to have some mercy and asked OCC for the manual ACR :basil:
I was waiting for this to be mentioned :tina:

(as always I can only give information based on the data in front of me xx)

Doubtful, we're a way off that date still and post-album singles don't really have official "release" dates!

Was it’s ‘official’ release date not the week in December 2017 when the different versions all were released by Beyoncé etc?

A Mick Jagger autograph? What is this, 1987?

Hah! Apparently it's the first time they've done a competition involving signed stuff for ten years.

They really seem to be going for this, if you order the CD from a different website you could win some artwork signed by the designer (yay?) and they've reduced the price of the CD on Amazon.

More and more and artists or labels are applying strategies to gain as much first week sales as they can which is good.
Honestly annoyed at the OCC breaking their own rules to get rid of 'Perfect', especially now that it had gotten so absurd I was starting to enjoy it  Now we'll never know if it would've lasted all the way to December!

Looking at the different outlets, Miley-Midnight Sky and Derulo-Dancing are super close

on Itunes

Miley #2 (0.48), Derulo #6 (0.26)

on Apple Music

Miley #16, Derulo #18

on Spotify

Miley #19 (170K), Derulo #23 (160K)

on Amazon streaming

Derulo #6, Miley #17

on Youtube (weekly)

Derulo #15 (800K a week), Miley #41 (400K a week)

I'm just concerned that Ed might be planning to release something soon as he's cleared Perfect out the way for three new tracks. I wouldn't be surprised if he were to Beyonce an album after his 'hiatus'. He loves a chart tactic!

but Declan is quite in front, the article on the OCC page was a bit misleading

all the talk about being so close and Declan being 50 copies ahead but they meant in physical copies not overall
