Whilst Little Mix will probably debut at #2, they’re definitely going to sell more than Kylie in the long run. So who’s the real winner here?

Hint: not Kylie

but it pisses me off she just releases 773638 versions

I never understand this argument you continually make?

Little Mix -

5 x Cassettes

6 x Vinyl

2 x CD

Total - 13 editions

Kylie -

5 x Cassettes

5 x Vinyl

3 x CD

Total - 13 editions

Today’s cassette release brings her up to LM total

Never because LM deserved this WAY more!

They have slayed there performances whereas Kylie just sounds nasal and can honestly barely sing these days.

Her albums alright, but it pisses me off she just releases 773638 versions

You need to make your mind up whether you're going to be a pressed Little Mix fan or whether everybody should just celebrate how well both artists are doing (since, y'know, that is what you said earlier).

SO glad you're 'honest' in saying Kylie can't sing, so good of you Joel! hahahahha

I've been following her for 32 years & she's never sounded better.

I may wait until the mids to see if it pushes me to buy the cassette bundle.

The alternative covers are nice but it's a bit of plastic I can't play & three of them are in cheap paper sleeves.

If a Disco Picture Disc LP became available however, I'd be right on it!

I'm a big fan of Little Mix and I'm streaming their album daily (because I enjoy it) but I'd be happy for Kylie if she got it. She's one of the rare celebrities that seem very likeable and down to earth even after 30 years in the industry and so much achievements under her belt.

What I find kinda uncomfortable and strange - and this applies to all fanbases, not just Little Mix and Kylie - is how many copies of an album they'll buy just to boost a chart position. I understand people wanting to buy all formats because they're collectors and like to have everything together but multi buying the same format and begging the artists to release more stuff they can buy just for a number 1 spot on the charts is a bit much. Both artists and their teams are profiting so much from fans desperation and it sorta feels like taking advantage. Fans spending so much of their income to help these millionaires get a chart position when if Little Mix and Kylie cared THAT much they could just pay someone to go out and buy thousands of their albums for them.

Again this is more of a general issue (BTS, One Direction and Justin Bieber fans are obviously the most extreme) but it still amazes me how much people are willing to spend on these sort of things. I'd kinda accept it as 'everyone is entitled to do what they want with their money' and 'it's not harming anyone' but then you come in this thread and see grown adults mocking the other fanbase and using so many passive aggressive insults and "" emojis and it becomes scary.

I’m happy for whoever wins, but lots of Kylie stans were calling Little Mix lots of different things for the amount of formats and now she’s releasing equal they seem to be happy... very confusing.

Let’s see if LM are still around in 30 years first!

I’ve had my tantrum.

Little Mix will sell better in the long run anyway and hopefully now SM is a smash they could climb to #1 in the new year.

Sad that the battle is over so early on too.

Wow how many new cassettes is that for Kylie? Her team are pros at this!

Well, little mix had 838283 version with each one of their faces in cd, vinyl and k7.

Im sorry how little mix slayed so hard when kylie just delivered infinite disco.

You sound delusional and stupid

Having numerous Cassettes won’t do anything for them when a large percentage of their fans are younger and probably never heard of a cassette.

That’s the difference Kylie fans are mostly OAPs or gays from the 80’s so buy every physical version possible.

24M views on Sweet Melody (top 5 single) they’re clearly the more popular act but it’s just logistics.

#1 on all streaming services (Whilst Kylie is low on all of them)

Joel you shouldn't be complaining Kylie is doing more, you should be complaining your favs AREN'T.

I agree with what you’re saying, but that’s just capitalism for you. The fans are literally crying out for new formats to buy, and the labels are obliging. It’s just supply and demand. The interesting thing is that neither Kylie nor Little Mix have engaged in this chart battle online at all, it’s the fans creating the hype.

I kind of view it as similar to supporting your favourite sports team, getting passionate about who wins and loses, that drive to win doesn’t diminish the older you get. It is what it is, the main issue I have with it is the amount of excess plastic having 4000 cassettes that never get played creates.

Not a chance she was terrible on GN...

You are really something else. She was not terrible on GN. Grow up. You constantly bitch and moan that people are taking this chart battle to the dumps but you are the worlds worst.

Thanks hun

I’m allowed an opinion! I’ve said numerous times she has a decent album but her performance on GN was terrible IMO.

Also, why do you sign your name everytime you post? It’s not an email hun.

Guys it’s a competition... fair game to whoever using all their tools. RCA should take note. Everyone here would do the same if we were in BMG’s position.
