Just because there is a majority female top-ten doesn’t mean it’s the ‘best top-ten in years’. Prisoner is okay as is Positions bht there have been better top-tens before.

It’s a subjective statement. It’s my favourite Top 10 in a long time. You do you.

You framed it as a question but hey ho.

Monster ALREADY discounted to 59p on iTunes. Shawn’s team are really scrambling for that top-ten hey?

Love the song regardless.

If only there was some way for questions to be asked rhetorically...

I don’t see Levitating going #1 at all. If Sweet Melody can’t reach it with how well its doing.. then there’s Ariana who doesn’t appear to be letting up as well as Billie and Mariah is going to steamroll her way through. Then the Christmas rush will knock everything out and even during the recovery I still don’t see it.

(plus I don’t like that particular song and I’m bitter hallucinate was paid dust nnnnn)

'Hallucinate' really got the 'No More Sad Songs' treatment  Still a huge hit, but not as big as it could/should have been - sandwiched between two bigger hits to "bridge the gap", as well as being top 3 of their best songs (for me anyway x)

Although had they solely focused on 'Hallucinate' and not bothered with that pointless remix album, I'm sure it'd have been a top 10 smash.

'Hallucinate' did exceptionally well for a post-album single without adding a feature and not having a proper video, and also minimal support on streaming platforms.

I don't think Hallucinate could have done anything more without greater HHUK support. It did well on sales which proved its appeal but the playlist support was too little, too late. Spotify are weird with post-album singles (if you're not Harry Styles).

(and I wouldn't say it was comparable to NMSS, which was a top 15 hit and had a new remix released + promoted...!)

It was obviously rhetorical..

It’s still bonkers to me that RCA aren’t discounting Sweet Melody. What are they waiting for?
Can I just we do have an update incoming but minus the albums, hopefully MW will see their mistake. -_-

NO OTHER SALES INFO

I know sales in general at the moment are nothing to write home about but it’s impressive that Ariana has a 5k+ gap over #2 in week 5 of its time at the top - there’s a similar gap between #2 and #8! *.*

Sweet Melody could perfectly end up at #2. :o

We will have a Xmas overdose this Friday then. :drama:
