December 16, 20204 yr I should have been more specific, sorry. I don't have an issue with the NHS doing this but just like the 'clap for NHS' thing during lockdown, this will be another way for the public to think they're 'doing their bit' and 'supporting them' instead of just staying the f*** home and following the proper guidelines. I can already see the swarm of people sharing this on my social media channels whilst at the same time having big Christmas parties and not following any of the rules. None of them will bother actually fighting for them to get a pay rise or have better working conditions but as long as they clap for 60 seconds on a Thursday night and download a song on iTunes it makes them look and feel like they're making a difference. Agreed that’s why I refused to clap during the first lockdown, just people acting like sheep! Same people probably vote for a Tory government too!
December 17, 20204 yr Yes I think he did for the 2nd one but the 1st. Just listening to the song now (with VPN) and it's.. as good as the previous two. Should be in with a shot.
December 17, 20204 yr I go to Youtube, first think I see it's a giant banner advertising the new LadBaby song with the iTunes pre-order
December 17, 20204 yr Have you got a link.. can't find it. He posted a link to it on Insta stories which has disappeared now, so I can't find it unfortunately!
December 17, 20204 yr Agreed that’s why I refused to clap during the first lockdown, just people acting like sheep! Same people probably vote for a Tory government too! Ooh snap - I'd add to that: probably the same absolute MELTS who stockpiled toilet roll in March. I go to Youtube, first think I see it's a giant banner advertising the new LadBaby song with the iTunes pre-order That's the algorithm, obviously knew you'd be a fan Bjork.
December 17, 20204 yr https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/c...evealed__31728/ "Christmas Number 1 2020: The contenders revealed" LadBaby - Don't Stop Me Eatin' Justin Bieber ft. December 17, 20204 yr Why would Liam Gallagher be a contender when that song has come and gone from the chart.
December 17, 20204 yr Why would Liam Gallagher be a contender when that song has come and gone from the chart. Physical release out this week
December 17, 20204 yr Why would Liam Gallagher be a contender when that song has come and gone from the chart. I think there might be a vinyl release coming tomorrow.
December 17, 20204 yr Why would Liam Gallagher be a contender when that song has come and gone from the chart. Because its Liam Gallagher and the OCC just wanted to put a big name artist in their article that older people may have heard of as Christmas number 1 does generate wider public interest than usual #1's? Edited December 17, 20204 yr by Road Salt Mixer
December 17, 20204 yr Ladbaby is apparently doing quite a few radio interviews. He's on Magic FM tomorrow morning. All good publicity.
December 17, 20204 yr I reckon at least one of those charity singles other than LadBaby/NHS will go top 40
December 17, 20204 yr No mention of Mariah as a contender. RIGGED!!!!! The OCC hoping if they ignore it, Mariah will just go away eventually  Tbf, makes sense for them to plug the new releases which won't get anywhere near the same radio/media coverage MC will have this week. I would rather she stayed ahead of Jess and Justin still!
December 17, 20204 yr Didn't happen last year (the next highest 'campaign' entry after LadBaby was Jarvis Cocker at #48 - I suppose that might fare well for that one Boris Johnson song this year, which surprisingly enough also wasn't mentioned in this article )
