December 23, 20205 yr With this surge of all versions on iTunes it seems to be having and making a splash on streams now, maybe it could potentially go for the runner-up position? :o
December 23, 20205 yr Talking about low album sales at Christmas...... Compare with this week's book sales, 1 Richard Osman - 134,500 2 Barack Obama - 66,500 3 David Walliams - 55,000 (who has been at no. 1 for 3 of the past 4 years) Seems people are more interested in buying books than CDs/downloading/streaming albums. Wonder how the total market compares with each form of entertainment? Perhaps people prefer to buy DVDs these days compared with either books or music.
December 23, 20205 yr Richard Osman’s book has been doing insanely well. First debut book to ever get the Christmas number 1 😱 It sold more in its 15th week on sale than The Testaments and The Mirror & the Light sold in their first weeks, which is just crazy when you think of the hype for those two.

December 23, 20205 yr I just want to see BoJo for the wrong (or the right) reasons in the Christmas top 5. :D
December 23, 20205 yr Looks like The Kunts will definitely be making the top 5 then, making 2 consecutive prime ministers who have inspired a UK top 5 hit about how awful they are! (with a bonus to Margaret Thatcher also inspiring one in her death)
December 23, 20205 yr Not looking likely for Feliz Navidad to make the top 40 then :( Hope Chris Rea can achieve a new peak in the top 10 tho
December 23, 20205 yr Not looking likely for Feliz Navidad to make the top 40 then :( Hope Chris Rea can achieve a new peak in the top 10 tho I imagine ‘Feliz Navidad’ will do well in weeks when Xmas day streams are included. Can’t wait to see a breakdown of Liams sales to see the vinyl sale. The Kunts likely to chart in the top 5 then just behind Wham! Hope the top 4 albums can at least break 20k. McCartney III only sold 5k since Monday’s mids?
December 23, 20205 yr I wonder if evermore can outsell its first week 😮 it was 5k behind its first week in Monday’s update but now under 2k behind when comparing the Wednesday midweek updates!
December 23, 20205 yr 128,280 copies - and that’s only between Friday and Tuesday. Is this the biggest opening week this year?
December 23, 20205 yr The Kunts not even close to their wild claims of ‘potential #1’ then - we LOVE to see it :cheer:
December 23, 20205 yr A reminder if you want to post about the appropriateness or otherwise of the Kunts track then please head here http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=241742 This thread is just to discuss its chart position.
December 23, 20205 yr really surprised at Taylor being the album that sold the most since Monday, thought people would be more into B&B and Neil Diamond
December 23, 20205 yr Amazing to see The Kunts that high! I originally thought it would go low top 40 at best
December 23, 20205 yr Wow 128k for Ladbaby! I guess 95% of them be paid sales aswell, Some streaming from Youtube videos. What is the highest #1 sales this year?
December 23, 20205 yr Off the top of my head I think the highest this year was No Time To Die with 90,488 'sales'
