December 29, 20205 yr They have but not on the same levels, Mariah's still top 50 on Spotify today The "problem" for the non Christmas songs is that Positions is #1 today with 220k (1540k per week) and Mariah did 2400K on Christmas Eve only... and it's still on Top 50. Let's see how many Christmas songs remain at Top100 and if AIWFCIY leads the first chart of 2021... :cheer:
December 29, 20205 yr Hopefully Christmas will fall because a top 3 in the albums of evermore/future nostalgia/confetti would be perfect 😍😍
December 29, 20205 yr COME ON 'Sweet Melody' - that'd make an amazing first #1 of 2021. Really hoping it can do it in the coming week(s) :cheer:
December 29, 20205 yr Big climb for 'positions' in the albums as hoped :cheer: hopefully a return to the top 10 is on the cards soon - a vinyl release or 'pov' pushed as a single would be ideal
December 29, 20205 yr Wow all those Christmas songs still dominating the top 20. Thought it would have changed for this week’s chart. God I’d love it if sweet melody could clinch a number one 🙏 but I feel the following week may be Ed’s week. Great to see Taylor holding on hopefully to top 3!
December 29, 20205 yr Will a lot of the Christmas songs in the top 20 have fallen by the chart on Friday?
December 29, 20205 yr Amazon must have a few truckloads of signed Jess Glynne CDs to "accidentally" deliver! Come through Alexa! :cheer:
December 29, 20205 yr Really happy to see mariah leading the way and kylies santa baby as high as 23, it should get kylie another week in the top 75.
December 29, 20205 yr Paul McCartney down from 1 to 32 this week, physicals and downloads must be dire. I dread to think what album sales will be like. Edited December 29, 20205 yr by iain
December 29, 20205 yr Suddenly loving those Alexa streams since they're making Sweet Melody smash! At least it doesn't look as suspicious as Jess's did.
December 29, 20205 yr Sam returned in the top 10, we love longevity It's £4.99 everywhere It's not been full price since week one.
December 29, 20205 yr Crazy chart week. Christmas choirs galore and golden oldies. Streaming playlists not only dominating the singles chart but also the albums chart this week
December 29, 20205 yr Paul McCartney down from 1 to 32 this week, physicals and downloads must be dire. I dread to think what album sales will be like. Alot of the shops are closed due to being in Tier 4 restrictions so I can't imagine sales being very high on the album charts.
