January 5, 20215 yr Didn’t Wham literally just get that record for longest gap between #1’s last week? Omg. Of course! Although that was with a Christmas song so the circumstances were different but I guess a record is a record.
January 5, 20215 yr harry to end at #3 again Possibly for this week but I’m hoping that Treat People With Kindness will gain some traction over the coming days/weeks that will hopefully push Fine Line to #1 over the next week or so😁
January 5, 20215 yr Somebody tweet LM label let them know they are number 2 on albums with close sales :P only act I eouldnt mind blocking Taylor is LM tbh  it would be an easy chart double if they wanted it
January 5, 20215 yr Somebody tweet LM label let them know they are number 2 on albums with close sales :P only act I eouldnt mind blocking Taylor is LM tbh  it would be an easy chart double if they wanted it Yeah it annoys me that they are saying not to download because 900 copies is actually nothing... Strongest streaming days are over the weekend, So a massive push for digital and physical they could have it easy especially with a discount to £4.99 on iTunes
January 5, 20215 yr I think what's most impressive is that Little Mix have been in the Top 10 in each of the last 11 years since their debut. Which is impressive. It’s very different to boasting that Spice Girls got no.1s in two different decades.

January 5, 20215 yr Literally a small push on social media and price drop could send any of the Top 4 to #1 on albums! Honestly I'd rather Dua increases the price of her album to get rid of that awful lowest sales for a #1 record! EDIT: Stream Levitating Edited January 5, 20215 yr by k👠th
January 5, 20215 yr If Spotify data is missing from the midweeks, does that not put LM at risk of dropping before Friday? They’re quite low on Spotify compared to Ed?
January 5, 20215 yr If Spotify data is missing from the midweeks, does that not put LM at risk of dropping before Friday? They’re quite low on Spotify compared to Ed? 26k gap in streams is nowhere near enough to overturn the #1
January 5, 20215 yr Which is impressive. It’s very different to boasting that Spice Girls got no.1s in two different decades. Spiceboy was just pointing out something that the Spice Girls achieved while being pleased that Little Mix looked set to achieve the same thing. That's hardly boasting. Forgetting or not realising that All Saints had managed the same thing isn't a big deal, you could have mentioned it without being so haughty. All of these girl groups have achieved multiple impressive stats, I don't know why this one comparison has caused indignation :')
January 5, 20215 yr How important is iTunes these days?? I know it’s kind of on it’s away out but Harry has moved to number 2 in the album chart there and I was wondering how much iTunes effects overall positioning??
January 5, 20215 yr How important is iTunes these days?? I know it’s kind of on it’s away out but Harry has moved to number 2 in the album chart there and I was wondering how much iTunes effects overall positioning?? It can stand to make all the difference if sales are very close! As of today's midweeks, Harry has sold 173 downloads and Dua has sold 208 downloads (35 copy difference). Dua is ahead of Harry in the midweeks by 9 sales.
January 5, 20215 yr Which is impressive. It’s very different to boasting that Spice Girls got no.1s in two different decades. I’m sorry I forgot All Saints I actually love them too and am a huge fan. It is super hilarious how you slated Spice Girls for doing it in 4 years when didn’t All Saints all do it over 4 or 5 years? I really am not into pitting girl band against girl band but if you want to talk about truly impressive then let’s discuss selling out Wembley stadium 3 times over 20 years after they first formed, in fact the only girl band ever to sell it even once. Or if you want to talk #1’s having the most #1s any girl band has ever achieved, or being the only band in history to have their first 9 singles all go platinum.... Ah no they are not TRULY impressive either are they? Also yes I am boasting this time (I wasn't last time I was bigging up LM) I'm proud of the girls for what they achieved, and I truly hope that Little Mix join one of their records after having broken a couple already. :) Edited January 5, 20215 yr by spiceboy

All of these girl groups have achieved multiple impressive stats, I don't know why this one comparison has caused indignation :') Well you’re one to talk about getting haughty but the comparison has probably caused indignation because it’s a poor one. Little Mix have (almost) scored no.1s over a ten year period starting near the beginning of the last decade and continuing into this one. Spice Girls achieved their no.1s, a very impressive number of them, over a much smaller time period. Despite the technical fact they both got no.1s in 2 different decades, it’s not quite the same. I’m sorry I forgot All Saints I actually love them too and am a huge fan. It’s funny that you have to drag them all up whilst not ‘putting girl groups against each other’. I’m not even interested in any of these girl groups, I’m just making observations but it seems the clique has spoken and I’ll bow out here before people start deleting my posts.

You stated how it was "truly impressive" and how I "conveniently forgot" about All Saints so I could "boast" about Spice Girls. I was actually not boasting about them at all I was simply saying they would join Spice Girls in having this record (and All Saints of course). Again when did I drag any other girl band? It was you who was dragging me and Spice Girls I simply stated the achievements of the girls I never once said anything about the other girls I didn't say that one of the other groups only performed in theatres or arenas and that what was "TRULY impressive" was to perform in a stadium. I simply did what you accused me of doing in the first place and "boasted" about Spice Girls. :teresa: I really don't understand how my post caused the reaction it did.
January 5, 20215 yr I think we can all agree that the girl groups we've mentioned have all done amazingly well, and it's great that Little Mix look set to achieve an impressive #1 this week. :cheer: Buy and stream Sweet Melody and Confetti
