He had big competition the week it came out I remember it was Stormzy and another big name (can’t remember who) the same week it was released .

Ironically he has outsold both the albums that were released same week I believe. It was Stormzy and Rod Stewart wasn't it?

Come through Little Legends!

Love this Little Legends!

They will join Spice Girls as only girl band to secure #1 singles in two different decades if they do it... records!! B-)

Little Mix should totally reduce the album and release some more signed copies like right now! (Although doubt they would be able to get all four sadly!) Anything to push the album try to get that #1 on both charts!

I'm pleased for them but #1 singles in two different decades is hardly a significant achievement?

10 years after they started out - I think it is.

Yeah it sounds more impressive when it's put put like that rather than in two different decades. In fact it trounces the records for other girl bands - Spice Girls only had 4 years between their first and last #1, Sugababes had 5 years and Girls Aloud 6 years, so in that sense 10 years between #1s is seriously impressive for Little Mix.

Did All Saints not manage this feat too?

Actually All Saints are even more impressive because they scored multiple no.1s in the two decades in which they achieved no.1s which makes it all more annoying that they’ve been conveniently forgotten so that people can hype their faves.

I think what's most impressive is that Little Mix have been in the Top 10 in each of the last 11 years since their debut.

10 years actually. They debuted in 2011

I said "each of" the last 11 years. 2011-2021 = 11 years.

Good point and in August, it will be their 10th anniversary from when they appeared on X Factor

Ed should overtake LM by Friday

Looks like Ed or CJ could stop LM going to #1

Would love LM to get the double. I’ve just ordered another copy off amazon for £4.99. Already have a signed cd and vinyl 😅
If LM get #1, I hope CJ or Ed snatch the top spot next week

Yes I would presume Ed would maybe take it the week after. Song growing on me as well. Whoopty doesn't sound like a #1 hit for me.

That's a good point actually. They must be breaking the record for longest gap between first and latest number one single for a girl group. I won't even attempt to figure out what the record is for a group overall. Probably something by The Beatles or Queen.

Little Mix’s span of number ones will actually be longer than The Beatles if they get there, granted that is mostly because The Beatles broke up before they could achieve that themselves.

Queen had 1975-2001(?) (bohemian rhapsody to we will rock you (Five version with Queen))

Didn’t Wham literally just get that record for longest gap between #1’s last week?
