V v happy to see Weki Meki (and Chestoria ofc) through. A shame about Queen Sunmi and her Wonder back-ups not making it, but that was to be expected.

 

Also: Cody it’s a competition on an online music forum. It’s great that you get really into it and all, and it feels good to know a lot of people love/share a liking for your entry, but it’s not like you win anything (other than the glaring responsibility of having to host the next contest). When Davina McCall drops a million pounds down my chimney for winning the BJSC, then I’ll start having an emotional response - otherwise take a leaf out of Indina Menzel’s book and let it go

Absolutely shocked to have qualified :o It did seem like an incredibly lucky semi draw for me but otherwise never got my hopes up. That's awesome!

 

Casualties from my votes were New Lexico (6 points), Eledan (5 points) and Oslol (4 points). All three were nice standouts in a semi I didn't really care for, oop. As for Semi 2...how did Trifoski finish last? :cry:

This is one of the few J-Pop songs I really liked as I’m not generally a big fan of the genre oops. I listened to other LiSA creations and nothing stood out unfortunately.

 

There was maybe one single moment during the entirety of last week when I TOYED with an idea of SOMEHOW qualifying so I don’t think I’ve been more prepared to face the music. Of course excluding some of my out-there entries from ages ago.

Biggest loss across both semis however is Aesthetica, that would have got BIG points in the final from us.
