It's fab! I've tried many times to get soul/rnb genre acts through to the final, and only succeeded with Sam Cooke (yay!) so it's always a bit of an uphill battle! Bran Van 3000 were a great quirky act, and Curtis Mayfield was paralysed from the neck down from 1990 till his death in 1999, having already had a leg amputated in 1998 from diabetes complications. The last thing he recorded was Astounded, and the man is a 60's and 70's social rights and black rights legend both solo and with his band The Impressions, great right up to the very end even paralysed in a wheelchair.

Salena Mastroianni) this is going to be killer, some tunes are going to be lost no matter what, it's also quite tough to call because I have to wonder where the various types of voters are going to direct their attention most and there's lots here to draw the attention of anyone into dance without many that are going to grab it universally like for example greenfroze I'd probably have on as a safe qualifier in the other semi, but generally I'd expect most of those I'd unbolded to have a good shot at it.
