April 7, 20214 yr ehm, sending a genre which hasn't been entered a lot lately and therefore sounds fresh is normally a good way to get me interested, but for something specific, power metal is almost a cert to have me actively cheering your entry on.
April 7, 20214 yr Not a genre particularly, but anything instrumental is almost always a hit with me. Classical and Post rock are genres I will very rarely ignore, just a shame there aren't more of them x
April 7, 20214 yr High quality pop songs with a great chorus (what Jonjo said) or a stunning instrumental that stands out from the other entries of the month are good ways to grab my attention and points. Trance almost always goes down well too.
April 7, 20214 yr Oslol is my prediction to win. Bold prediction considering they are banned this month  Post-rock / post-punk, when they occasionally show up in the contest, are probably the most consistent cheat codes to getting high points from me I guess ~ I often tend to support entries from slightly more niche genres as they can be some much needed fresh air amongst the sea of pop and dance (that and they tend to more often be sent by people whose music taste more closely matches my own in general). But then maybe if they did become more commonplace that would just indicate a lesser amount of quality control in picking such entries out xx
April 7, 20214 yr Indie and anything with a funky-sounding guitar usually does it for me! I'm a fan of dance as well but there are plenty of dance songs which have just gone over my head as well.
April 7, 20214 yr I hope you chorus fans are going to be hopping on board the TARO Bellamia train this month *.*
April 8, 20214 yr Just to keep some discussion going... who are you most hoping to receive points from in BJSC 134? Who is your entry targeted towards? Of course, entries haven’t been revealed yet, but that’s why it’s more intriguing to see whose baiting who. So my forthcoming entry is very pop heavy, but has elements of rock, including a guitar solo near the end. It’s not the usual type of entry that Zanmatony sends, but we wanted to lean towards a male vocalist for a change, and something from 2021. It’s out hope that we can attract nations such as Flynnonda, Niceland, The Actual Republic of Bellamia, Taahino, uhsting and other nations that favour pop and rock entries over dance entries. Of course, we hope to be able to gain points from many other nations, but it would be nice to see new and returning nations awarding us points again after a long gap without. ^_^
April 8, 20214 yr Something tells me Bøtanikkä may well end up being a big fan of my entry  and perhaps Aeroche too
April 8, 20214 yr My next entry is targetted towards the pop bloc (particularly people who love Scandipop!) and hoping to break the DNQ streak!
April 8, 20214 yr Author . trinityfjord, mosquetania union city turf house arena < April 08, Day 03 > Hello Buzzverse! Welcome to the Green Room! We are your hosts this month, local weirdo on demand Bjork/Katya, and Dakota the dog, an avid cuddler and likes to take long walks on the beach! Yesterday we asked you what kind of music is always a hit with you, but today we're taking the discussion in another direction. It's time to focus on the theme of this month which is ICELAND! As your hosts are all Icelandic it's only fitting to ask who is your favourite Icelander (excluding your host extraordinaire, DIVA) and why? < patriotic nod > We would love to hear which Icelanders you like and what it is about them that you like. They can be actors or musicians, athletes or politicians or just someone you know from this little volcanic rock in the Atlantic Ocean. .
April 8, 20214 yr I think it would have to be Magnus Magnusson who presented Mastermind for 25 years with his memorable catchphrase "I've started so I'll finish".
April 8, 20214 yr I hope you chorus fans are going to be hopping on board the TARO Bellamia train this month *.*Â Buzzjack Mountain have quite a chorus for our entry!
