Just missing out on the final showdown, we lose 'Live To Tell'. The song was stuck in the #2 spot for a couple of weeks behind Whitney Houston's 'Greatest Love of All'. But it eventually managed to reach the top spot there. However in the UK, it had to settle for a runner-up placing. It was prevented from reaching the top by Falco's 'Rock Me Amadeus'.

Frozen reignited Madonnas career and the Ray of Light album introduced her to a new audience while also appealing to a large percentage of her existing fanbase.
