28 = Kim Chi (Series 8) = 225pts

At 28 is Kim Chi who is the third highest Queen from Series 8 behind Bob and Naomi, she did however manage to gain 9 votes and 1 top ranking overall. She’s one of only 2 Queens to make it into the top 30 who gained less than 10 votes, however a lot of her rankings were high. Kim Chi had a good run throughout Series 8 – she won 2 Challenges and never hit the bottom 2, eventually becoming runner-up alongside Naomi Smalls. Kim Chi did have a couple of obstacles which she overcome, mainly to do with the performance side of the competition. A fierce Queen though who gave amazing runway… a lovely personality too.

27 = Priyanka (CA Series 1) = 228pts
Number of Votes = 11



At 27 is the highest ranked Queen from Drag Race Canada (and therefore the Highest Ranked Canadian Queen); Priyanka, Priyanka gained 11 votes in total and is the 12th Highest Ranked Winner. Jimbo actually gained more votes, however Priyanka had better rankings so finishes on the Canadian top. On the show Priyanka managed 2 challenge wins and most of the time was deemed ‘safe’ barring 2 other weeks where she hit the bottom 2 after Snatch Game and a pageant Challenge. Despite hitting the bottom 2 and not having the best track record she managed to snatch the crown – she had such a great personality and deserving of the title. With Priyanka’s exit it means Bimini is the only non-US Queen standing and Drag Race Canada is the 4th Series to be out of Queens (from the US/ UK/ CA series’)

26 = Yvie Oddly (Series 11) = 235pts
Number of Votes = 13



From one winner to another as Yvie just misses out on a place in the top 25 by 5pts. Yvie is the 11th Highest Ranked Winner and the Highest Ranked Queen of Series 11. Yvie gained 13 votes in total and is by far and away the highest Ranked Queen from Series 11, gaining more than double the points of Brooke Lynn who was ranked 2nd of the Series. Yvie had a phenomenal run to begin with, winning Week 2 and then being high for the next 5 weeks. She petered out slightly towards the end of the Series and wasn’t at the top for the last 5 weeks, hitting bottom 2 post Snatch Game. However she beat the rest of the finalists and was crowned the winner. I really liked Yvie and really enjoyed her Drag style, her runways and concepts were always interesting. Series 11 becomes the 5th Series from US, UK, CA to be all out of Queens.

25 = Peppermint (Series 9) = 240pts

Series 9’s Lip Sync Queen Peppermint kicks off the top 25, she is the fourth Highest Series 9 Queen and managed to gain 12 votes in total. As I’ve said before, I’ve not long since finished a Series 9 re-watch and I’d forgotten how great Peppermint was. She had some wobble early on which resulted in a bottom 2 appearance after Snatch Game, but after that she seemed to shift gears and step it up. Her Lip Syncs though were insane; she completely killed Cynthia in the Music performance and then whilst Alexis put up a strong fight, Peppermint dominated there too. The Lip Sync in the finals were also strong, along with Sasha they seemed to be on another level to Trinity and Shea that evening. Whilst it wasn’t enough to beat Sasha in the last performance, she did incredibly well and has such a lovely personality. All Stars is calling for her…

Peppermint and Monet are both queens that I didn't particularly care for during their seasons but have grown to love off the show — especially when they're with Bob.

24 = Monique Heart (Series 10 | All Stars 4) = 245pts
Number of Votes = 12



At 24 is Monique Heart who is the second highest ranked Queen from Series 10, behind Aquaria, she gained 12 votes in total and 245pts. Monique’s initial run on Series 10 saw her mainly being safe, despite her personality and belief in herself. Monique scored a high placement for the Bossy Rossy challenge, however just 2 weeks later after a dodgy Snatch Game found herself in the bottom 2. On my rewatches, I just watched her exit against The Vixen and I’d forgotten that she didn’t remember the words. She did go before her time really as I think she had more to give, but only really had herself to blame. She then returned for All Stars 4 where she seemed to have upped her game, managing to win 3 challenges. However in the end she was eliminated alongside Naomi Smalls in 3rd/ 4th Place.

23 = Trinity ‘The Tuck’ Taylor (Series 9 | All Stars 4) = 249pts

Another Series 9 Queen next as Trinity places at 23, she is the third highest Series 9 Queen behind Valentina and Shea and the 10th highest winner. Trinity had a fantastic run throughout Series 9 and seemed to be a Queen who started off as a more pageant Queen however found she could ably do comedy too (apart from the roast). Trinity won 3 challenges and only hit the bottom 2 once after the breakfast show challenge, however she completely won the Lip Sync as Charlie just basically stood there. Despite her amazing run, she was beaten by Peppermint in the first Lip Sync for the crown and was eliminated in 3rd/ 4th place. Trinity then returned for All Stars 4 and won 4 challenges, only hitting the bottom 4 once, she then went on to be crowned alongside Monet.

Trinity is a bore. Monique and Peppermint are absolute JOYS however

I really enjoy Trinity tbh

 

Interesting to compare these results to the last big all queens' rate survey in which Monique was the top season 10 queen rather than Aquaria!

22 = Trixie Mattel (Series 7 | All Stars 3) = 253pts

At 22 is Series 7 Queen and All Stars 3 Winner Trixie Mattel. Trixie is the ninth highest ranked Winner and the third highest ranked Queen from Series 7 behind Katya and Violet. Trixie is the last Queen remaining not to receive 10 or more votes, however the votes she did get were high. Trixie didn’t have the best run on Series 7, behind eliminated against Pearl in Week 4 before returning in Week 8 and then being eliminated again in Week 10. Trixie then returned for All Stars 3 and despite gaining mass success outside the show, once again seemed to struggle with the format of Drag Race and the challenges. Her Snatch Game was dreadful, however that bottom 3 appearance seemed to be the fire Trixie needed and went on to win 2 challenges. Then in one of the worst twists that Drag Race has seen, the jury of eliminated Queens put through the two weakest Queens to the top 2. Trixie eventually won the series and I think overall was a better prospect than Kennedy, however given Shangela and Ben’s track records (heck even BeBe’s), the win feels a little hollow. My feelings at the time were extreme and whilst its not Trixie’s fault that the twist existed, its just a frustrating end to the Series. I though twists aside, she has shown her worth outside of the show and its format.

21 = Naomi Smalls (Series 8 | All Stars 4) = 254pts

Missing out on a place by just 1 point is Series 8 finalist Naomi Smalls. Naomi managed 11 votes including 1 top rankings and is the second highest ranked Queen of Series 8, behind Bob. Naomi seemed to have a bit of a quiet start to Series 8, however really made an impression post bottom 2 appearance. She went on to win a challenge and then place high to the final, before finishing as runner-up… to Bob. Naomi then returned for All Stars 4 and placed high several times, but didn’t win a challenge until week 8 whereupon she eliminated Manila from the competition. She then finished in 3rd/ 4th place alongside Monique, failing to reach the top 2. In my rewatch of Series 8, I really liked Naomi and forgot how great she was, if I was to submit a list now I’d probably have included her and would’ve made top 20.
