No No No...' followed the same release schedule, and yet 'Long Hot Summer' still feels like a one-off summer single — despite being on the album. It's like the era actually started with 'Biology', even when it didn't.

I love the top 4, there wouldnt be a huge gap between them for me, after 4 there is a huge gap.

 

I'm not sure if anyone feels the same way but I have always found it odd how both 'Long Hot Summer' and 'Sexy! No No No...' followed the same release schedule, and yet 'Long Hot Summer' still feels like a one-off summer single — despite being on the album. It's like the era actually started with 'Biology', even when it didn't.

 

I always thought that LHS, especially with the little promo it got, really was just a one-off summer bop. Biology was the album opener.

 

LHS always did feel like a side step.
