Majestic

Majestic, whose real name is Kevin Christie, is a house producer, garage MC and resident Kiss FM DJ who started out as an MC performing on the north London nightclub circuit at just 15 years of age. He rapidly broke through onto Garage pirate radio stations and forums, before being snapped up by international promoters to perform tours worldwide. Majestic has since crossed into a multitude of dance music genres, from UK Garage to House to Drum & Bass and Dubstep, performing with leading artists across the scene including Sigma, DJ EZ, MJ Cole, Judge Jules, Micky Slim, Jack Beats, Laidback Luke, The Wideboys, Netsky, High Contrast, Loadstar, Shy FX, Skream, Prodigy, Nero, Jacob Plant, Craig David, Tinie Tempah and Stormzy. As well as being named ‘best live MC in the game’ by Radio 1 DJ Mistajam, his releases have gained radio support from the likes of DJ Target, Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out, Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw and Sara Cox. Majestic also caught the attention of Dubstep superstar Skrillex, who sampled his tune ‘Ruffneck Bass’ for his 2011 More Monsters and Sprites EP. - Sony Music UK

Boney M.

Boney M. was a Euro-Caribbean vocal group created by German record producer Frank Farian, who served as the group's primary songwriter. Originally based in West Germany, the four original members of the group's official line-up were Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett from Jamaica, Maizie Williams from Montserrat and Bobby Farrell, a performing artist from Aruba. The group was formed in 1976 and achieved popularity during the disco era of the late 1970s. Since the 1980s, various line-ups of the band have performed with different personnel. The band has sold around 80 million records worldwide and is known for international hits such as "Daddy Cool", "Ma Baker", "Belfast", "Sunny", "Rasputin", "Mary's Boy Child – Oh My Lord" and "Rivers of Babylon". - Wikipedia

the Billie track is really good <3 smashing with another uncommercial and non chart-friendly song!

Congrats to Wolf Alice also, surprised they managed such high sales

Damn, #11 again.

Måneskin attracting a back-to-back play with 'Rasputin' twice now after 'ZITTI E BUONI' did a couple of weeks ago as well  transition goals

'Rasputin' is one of the dance highlights of the year

Such a shame Rasputin hasn't quite made the top 10 yet :(

9 song top 10 same last week different order 1 new entry

I think I find the vocals on this quite irritating - there's only so many times I can hear "wawwwwwwnnna" it's a good song otherwise and certainly a unique chart hit.

Surprised Joseph is not stanning Maneskin considering there are 2 long hair members. Well, 3 if you consider the girl too. :D

I'm not getting the love at all for this Majestix remix - might as well play the original as adds absolutely nothing to it.

I absolutely adore Rasputin, it's such a bop

Proof that I'm not as shallow as I may seem!

(I appreciate #longhairdontcare doing well x)

Biography

As the first group to win The X Factor, Little Mix set a high standard from their formation in 2011. In the years since, the quartet have exceeded any expectations placed on them, performing spirited pop that unapologetically shows off its members’ personalities and effortlessly fit in with the 2010s’ constantly shifting pop trends. Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall had all auditioned as solo singers when trying out for The X Factor but were put together early on in the show’s run, and their charisma and harmonies won over viewers. Little Mix’s first single from their 2012 debut album, “Wings”, was an ideal opening statement for them, its themes of empowerment boosted by a stomping beat and a sing-along-worthy chorus. Since then, they have channelled confident girl groups like the Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child as well as forward-thinking singers like Janet Jackson and Rihanna, with singles like the sparkling “Black Magic”, the defiant “Shout Out to My Ex” and 2017’s chaotic Stormzy collab “Power” combining no-nonsense lyrics with immediate beats. In 2020, they cemented their legacy both on record and with Little Mix: The Search, a reality show tasked with putting together a next-generation girl band—demonstrating that their goal since they were put together in the early 2010s has been lifting up women all over the world through energetic, danceable pop. - Apple Music

#11 is so frustrating but still a much more respectable peak than I thought Rasputin would have a few weeks ago. Hope it still has a chance to sneak in the top 10...

Glad "Confetti" got another week top ten! Glad to see "Good Without" will have a new peak too!

Another banger from Little Mix who really have done no wrong over the past year

Re: above - is Saweetie officially credited on this?

It's great that Confetti is still top 10

:party2:

Nope still don't get it whatsoever with the Rasputin remix. The original is fantastic, I love it, so if I want to hear it i'll listen to that. This new version adds nothing.

As much as I'd have loved to see Rasputin sneaking top 10, Confetti is not a bad alternative at all, I think it's my 2nd fave single of theirs this era! (Sweet Melody first)
