June 24, 20214 yr Overall the judging was pretty accurate? For me Yara and Rajah as well as Silky, Serena and Trinity’s placements made perfect sense episode 1- I’d maybe have replaced Pandora’s high placement with Scarlet. And for the second episode it was absolutely spot on- yes Jan and Scarlet were great but they didn’t reach the height that Sonique, Rajah and Eureka did. I normally can’t stand Eureka but I can’t fault how great she did in the Blue Ball!
June 24, 20214 yr Just watched episode 1! Pretty much the whole cast I feel has great energy and a renewed energy in a lot of cases, Ra'Jah is giving such star winner energy and Trinity I feel is so much more confident and comfortable. Kylie too of course, it's so great to see that she is a whole new person within herself and seems so happy and confident :wub: Didn't agree with Yara winning that, I'd have given the win to Ra'Jah! To do that in a minute is insane, it's totally different to a usual talent show act but she made it entertaining with the reveal of the colour and it actually being a stunning dress! I got a bit bored of all the high-energy lipsync mixes tbh, Yara was funny but at that point we'd seen a few of those and I ended up remembering Ra'Jah the most. I'd have had Scarlet and Eureka or Sonique high with her I think, but all of those, Yara, Ginger, Pandora and A'keria were great I thought. I just don't think Yara jiggling titties deserved a win over Ra'Jah sewing a genuinely stunning dress in a minute! Correct bottom 2, it's really sad that Trinity choked on that comedy set but thank god she gets another chance! It's a shame because the content there was funny, but once she lost it, the set fell apart and didn't hit. Serena I just fee was out of her depth, there were a lot of similar lipsync performances and there was just not a lot to it, I feel she should have been a bit more like Sonique and sort of re-introduced herself with more personality and uniqueness to it. It's great to see an out-there pick like her but it's such a strong cast and she was out of her depth. Silky was bad too and lucky to avoid the bottom, that was just... flat?
June 24, 20214 yr Episode 2 was great too! I agreed with the judging for nearly everyone tbh! Ra'Jah ate, serving such high fashion and each look was totally different but very much of her essence. She is serving such star energy every second she's on screen. Eureka made me wish this was an old top 2 winners season because all of her looks were FLAWLESS too, her "proportionising" is always incredible and every outfit fits her like a glove, she really knows what works for her and how. Sonique was amazing too and so deserving of the top placement, they were the right top 3 although Scarlet did really well too. Jan was good but not as good as the gays are making out, here we go with that already :lol: The lipsync was INCREDIBLE too, fully deserving of a double win as they both absolutely slayed it. The bottom 2 was correct for me, Yara's first two looks really deserved it even if her third was solid, and Jiggly's third let her down, the second was cute but basic and the first was solid. I think Yara did worse across the challenge combined but her constructed look was better, she did have that win from the episode prior buoying her so I can see why she stayed, I wanted to see more of Jiggly though :( The low placement was a toss-up for me, I'd argue maybe Silky just because I feel like her looks can be unflattering for her body shape, when you compare her to how Eureka this episode. A'Keria I feel should have been safe anyway, I didn't get the critiques for her first two, it was actually her last one I had an issue with in the way it was constructed but it wasn't BAD. Tbh though this was a really good ball and even though the bottoms deserved it, I don't think anyone *really* f***ed up. So far I'm lovng Ra'Jah the most, as I said her energy is just POWERFUL, Eureka I am also loving a lot which I am surprised at even though I didn't hate her before like everyone else did. She just seems warm and fun with a great energy to me in a way she wasn't before. This is a really promising season so far, Silky has been a non-entity at worst thankfully :lol: There's nobody I would say I dislike or is coming across badly yet, there's a few not giving much but not in a bad way, just down to the edit really.
June 24, 20214 yr I just finished the first ep... Ra'Jah is everything in this and just so much more well rounded, fun and just likeable. When I did a recent re-watch of Series 11 I warmed to her a bit more, but she has stepped it up so much is unbelievable. I always find the talent show can go one of two ways and this was mostly good. The Queens who just lip sync and throw themselves around (A'Keria) just bore me. But stuff like what Ra'Jah and Scarlet did was fun and different. Pandora I thought was good, but I just can't warm to her, Kylie is great though and its so good to see her return and have such a glow up. Bottom 2.... I don't know if Serena was that bad - uninspired possibly, but tbh I'd put her on a level with some of the others. Trinity wasn't great... Silky was just dull - she is low energy all round which is a bit of a shock after season 11. Yara winning... I don't know - if it wasn't for the breast plate there wasn't much of an act. Similarly the breast plate in the lip sync I think distracted more than helped her. Overall though, I think this is one of my fave starts to an All Stars Series On to Episode 2... June 24, 20214 yr Episode 2 done... three words: I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!! When the cast was announced I was so unsure about this seasons - I couldn't really stand a number of Queen on their original series but the glow ups here are amazing. We need to talk about Ra'Jah - not only has she been so strong in both challenges, her personality and character is just so likeable this time around. Whatever issues she had, she's clearly resolved and has come back so strong. As Liam said, her energy just seems to cut through everything - also her reactions to being in the top, getting compliments and then being announced as the winner were such great moments. Also the Lip Sync! So good!!!! I don't think I can stan her more at this moment. Kylie - another glow-up who has just been superb in both these episodes, so sweet and I just want to know what's she going to do next. Scarlet has been strong both weeks too, I hope she gets a High or Winning moment as it feels she has been 4th twice now and I think I would've put her top 3 in this Blue Ball. Such a shame to lose Jiggly - another loveable Queen, but I think against Yara it was probably about right. Just crap that's she's clearly got her shit together and probably would've excelled in other challenges but it wasn't meant to be. Trinity is great - another glow up in confidence which I'm loving - another who was strong this week. One thing though - Silky is so quiet! she can't seem to win I guess I think I complained during Series 11 that she was so OTT, this series it doesn't feel like she has even registered. Similarly Eureka seems to be less OTT as well... there's only 1 Queen i'm finding low key annoying and that's Jan, but its low key at the moment - her runways were great, I think I just find her personality to be grating. A'Keria, like Silky seems to be barely registering and both need to step themselves up. Overall - 2 fantastic episodes. Its crazy to think how much of a mess Season 13 was - this though is shaping up to be a fantastic series. Current Rankings (Top 11) 1 = Ra’ Jah O’Hara (Stunning…) 2 = Scarlet Envy (2 great weeks on the trot – hopefully she keeps it up) 3 = Kylie Sonique Love (The Glow up has been great – 2 amazing weeks) 4 = Euerka! (She’s done good and toned it done slightly) 5 = Ginger Minj (I’d rank her higher, but I don’t think she has had a proper moment yet) 6 = Trinity K Bonet (the confidence is great, first show wasn’t great though) 7 = Pandora Boxx (she’s doing ok, liking her more than I expected) 8 = Yara Sofia (Ok… but seems reliant on a breast plate) 9 = Jan (A bit grating, but has been alright both weeks) 10 = Silky Nutmeg Ganache (So quiet, but overall a little meh – overshadowed) 11 = A’Keria C Davenport (It doesn’t feel like she has registered, same with Silky) Edited June 24, 20214 yr by ElectroBoy
June 24, 20214 yr Yeah I agree with Silky, I feel like Eureka has kept what I personally liked about her anyway and toned down the bad stuff people didn't like, so she's doing really well and coming across great, but Silky has just gone totally flat! I'd rather that than loud annoying Silky anyday :lol: She can be talented so it would have been good to see her hone in on that and away from the loud personality, but she's lost the thing that made her stand out (even in a bad way) and hasn't replaced it with anything. I'd say Silky and Jan are my least faves, I know I am documented as not being a Jan fan and these first two episodes have done NOTHING to change my mind, I don't dislike either of them but they are giving me nothing along with A'Keria but I got very little from her the first time around too so that's no surprise.
June 24, 20214 yr Author Not at all surprised at Serena Cha Cha going first. I suspect Jiggly will come back if they have a Lalaparuza to make them return, unless she gets stuck with one of the absolute top lipsyncers. Yara and Pandora would both be easy marks to go against. In episode 2 I just thought imagine being Kylie Sonique sitting there watching a double win for an acrobatic lipsync when doing flips and splits was literally why she was eliminated in season 2. Pandora and Trinity are both heavily underwhelming me so far. Trinity's runways in the ball apart from the one she made herself were woeful. I thought Silky should also have B3'd that challenge, her last look was not it. I feel like Jan and Scarlet are being underappreciated again although Jan seems to be given a lot of confessional time. On the flip, RaJah and Kylie are both being given a lot suggesting they go far, and the same for Ginger and maybe Eureka? I hope Jan and A'Keria can stick around too.
June 25, 20214 yr SCARLETT ENVY LOOKED f***ING STUNNING IN EPISODE 2, WHY WAS SHE SAFE?! So weird. YAY for Yara not being slept on as I feared though, love that she feels like one of the central characters of the series. Her talent show made me laugh so much. Rajah is killing it too, no denying that! She doesn't feel like an All Stars winner based off what we know already but if she continues in this form then... well, who am I to say a 9th placer on their series can't be an All Stars winner?!
June 25, 20214 yr A great two epsiodes to start! I pretty much agree with most of the judging too, except for Yara winning the first challenge. Great to see Ra'Jah having such a glow up/comeback. I can't wait for acting challenges, as this cast is going to be so good at them I bet! Kylie is doing so well. :wub: I'm so excited to see how the season goes. Also, Scarlett's outfit she made herself was so so SO good! She looked amazing!
June 25, 20214 yr Ep 1 thoughts: - I still cant get over scarlett's enterence look - Yara deserved the win she was hystercal. Rajah and Pandora also turmed it. Defo right top 3. - I didn't think Serena's was the worst tbh. For me Sillky and Trinity was the worst. - Did anyone watch on netflix? I swear scarlett's was cut out, I really don't remember seeing it. Ep 2 thoughts: - Rajah killed it but kylie won the ep for me, the demin look WOW. - Scarlett's created look WOW a moment. I think she was safe because the first look didnt scream blue collar enough? Idk. - I love Jiggly :( so sad to see her go so early but you can tell like Rajah etc she seems to have new found confindence in who she is so I am so happy for her. - I didn't understand the critic for Akeria''s second look I loved that.

"This is All-Stars, everyone gets a second chance... except for Serena" :lol: Ra'Jah and Kylie might be miles away my two faves so far, they killed it in both episodes so far. Honestly this is a solid bunch. I feel like the Rusical this season will end up being one of the best in RPDR herstory.
June 25, 20214 yr Eureka's performance in the variety show with her mum on her dress at the end made me tear up a little bit. :snif: I've always liked Eureka, so I'm really glad she's come back and has improved upon things she's been critiqued about regarding her personaility. She actually has a big heart and is a really sweet queen outside the show. In fact, there doesn't seem to be any real villain edit so far! Which I really hope stays that way. It's really nice to see the queens be so supportive of each other. It's so good to see such big glow ups from the likes of Ra'Jah and Kylie. It was also great to see Serena and Jiggly and how much they've improved/evolved - despite their short time on the season. I have a feeling this is going to be my favourite All Stars season.
