Hopefully the Dave album boost can help ‘Clash’ go back to the top 3 next week, even if it’s only for one week. Also wonder if Anne Marie’s album boost will help ‘Our song’ finally go top 10? Also ‘Don’t play’ is gonna get a double boost with KSI’s album last week and Anne Marie’s album this week!
I suspect ‘In the Fire’ will eventually climb to be one of Dave’s 3 charting tracks as it has uncredited features from Fredo, Meekz, Ghetts & Giggs.
I know it's probably because they're high up on the tracklist but I'm happy to see 'We're All Alone' and 'Verdansk' in Dave's top 3 songs, both are less commercial but hard-hitting moments

Dave now has 4 songs in the top 10 on Apple already and all but one track top 40! Interested to see just how much he will end up dominating by the end of the day on Apple and on Spotify tomorrow, could be coming for some very impressive numbers if this early success holds well.

8 Verdansk

10 In The Fire

15 System (feat. WizKid)

17 Three Rivers

Anne-Marie/Little Mix having the only other new entry in the top 200 so far, in at #183. Next highest is Lil Nas X/Jack Harlow at #289.

On the first few listens, Kiss My (Uh Oh) is easily better than Our Song or Don't Play. Here for this to be a huge hit!

Hopefully Industry Baby can do big things as well, I remember Montero got off to a fairly slow start over the weekend but grew rapidly during the week to be a #1 debut, not expecting those heights again here but there's potential for it to blow up.

Haven't listened to Dave's full album yet so i'll hold my thoughts on that for now.

wow Dave now #2,3,4,5 +8,11,12,14,16,17,20,22

69 NEW Anne Marie

90 NEW Lil Nas X

Coming to have 9 of the top 10 by the end of the day at this rate?

Also, as called by Lewis, 'In The Fire' has jumped ahead of the other two album tracks to now be his 2nd highest song.

Spotify:

#32 Need To Know

#33 Talk About

#34 Fly Away

#49 Bo Burnham - Bezos I [gave this a listen earlier, enjoyed it more than I was expecting]

#61 Lorde - Stoned At The Nail Salon

A couple of new Dave songs have made the top 200 already:

#158 We're All Alone

#166 Verdansk

The Dave songs literally weren't even available to stream until midnight so really not sure how they have managed to show up in this update - I guess the tracking period for the updates must be stretching slightly past midnight for some reason? (I noticed this happening with the LAROI/Bieber song on Australian Spotify as well, and in fact has happened again there today with the Polo G collab from his re-re-release showing up a day early at #106).

Looks like the implication from that is that some 50,000 people were staying up to listen to the Dave album as soon as it dropped.

Yeah the cut off isn't exact though I'm not sure what it was and how it goes with different countries. For instance, the news of XXXTENTACION passing came at around 7am in eastern Australia (ie most populous/most forward time zone), and there was already a noticeable effect on the previous days chart, so it's at least 8 hours off, if not more. It's possible that the UK has the same offset but also possible that it's all relative to GMT so it's hard to say. One would imagine 12am-6am streams are not super high though.

on Apple:

44 NEW Anne Marie

73 NEW Lil Nas X

how long til the Lil Nas X gets a TikTok (naked) challenge?
