July 7, 20214 yr That last 5 minutes was fantastic from England - that was a masterclass of how to keep the ball and shows how far the technical levels of the players have improved! And that we have good game management too. Denmark played fantastically, England just had more in the tank.

I don't actually know how to feel now they've finally made it - I've got so used to the media stirring up hype and then England falling in the quarters or semis that it just feels so weird
July 7, 20214 yr I was born in 1966 when England won it, and this is my first in my lifetime I'm watching England in a final, it feels special to me for some reason... yes I'm old :P
July 7, 20214 yr That was an absolute fluke of a penalty giveaway and the shot (I saw Schmeichel save it and looked away and didn't think it would rebound!), but I'm not complaining and it was deserved given how well we played throughout. Penalties would've surely not favoured us. Denmark really turned off in the second half, the scoreline I think is a fair reflection of the game. Still, they've done really well to get this far especially under their circumstances. Incredible that this is our first ever Euros final, what a historical moment :wub: This was always gonna be a challenge and a potential loss to the clean sheet, so we did really well to work through it. Probably gonna get absolutely annihilated by Italy, but at this stage, I don't think anyone can complain! Also, my God, can the final please be over in 90 minutes, my heart couldn't handle that extra time period.
