July 22, 20214 yr I found Rajah really funny in the scene I wouldn’t have put her anywhere near the bottom! Akeria was definitely the worst though so sadly did deserve to leave this episode :( Kylie was such a deserving winner but Pandora, Ginger or Jan could have nabbed the win too- I think Kylie’s runway just made it a home run of an episode for her and then of course her fierce lipsync!
July 22, 20214 yr Author I’d have said Akeria and Eureka or maybe even Trinity in the bottom, Trinity didn’t do BADLY but I think she was a very meh safe performance. Rajah might not have followed exactly what they wanted of the character but she was funny and I actually prefer that to just kind of doing the bare minimum for what their character should be (A’Keria) or being one-note (Eureka). It shows that she knows what works for her in her mind, she did what she thought/knew would work. I guess that’s kind of a weakness in a scripted acting challenge but if it was funny, where’s the issue? That was definitely Kylie’s episode, she ATE that lipsync especially *.* I’d probably have given the win to Pandora or Ginger but I can see why she did, she acted the best and broke out of her shell.
July 22, 20214 yr I think Kyle was really flat in the performance to be honest. I loved her lip sync but I'd actually say Rah'ja did a better job than her (I don't know why the judges hated the voice so much, it worked fine for me?). I'm shocked Trinity escaped the bottom? July 22, 20214 yr Kylie WAS Jessica Lange though! She had a power behind her which that character needs and the southern drawl works perfectly. I'm glad they got it out of her cause she definitely could've ended up going if she didn't turn it up. Jan as well benefitted from a character meant for her but I'm glad the judges didn't go back on their words about her. Ginger as well did great cause that character is absolutely not her but she's very clever about drawing the good out of any acting role and drew attention to herself without ever being too much (Eureka...) I'd have had Pandora low tbh! That character could've been so funny yet it felt very plain and kinda not embodying the campness to her. Trinity wasn't great either and was the weaker twin imo! Rajah's idea was fine, I feel like that whole thing from Michelle/Ross was un-necessary and would've worked just fine! Akeria was the obvious one to go but she was very gracious and a great testament to her character that she kept fighting against the odds, she also had my favourite runway AGAIN this week so props to her for turning it!

July 22, 20214 yr I though the episode was nice, but the challenge was poor. I'm happy Kylie won - it definitely felt like she came out of her shell and shined during the challenge. Even though I think Jan and Ginger acted better, I think she did better overall. Her runway was stunning! She also ate that lip sync *_* Sad to see A'keria go. Even though she hadn't shined a lot in the challenges, she certainly turned it out on the runways! She's delivered some amazing looks this season. :wub: I was surprised to see Ra'Jah in the bottom. But I think the main reason why is because she didn't take direction from Michelle and Ross, as opposed to her actually doing poorly, which isn't fair. Eureka should've been in the bottom. Tbh I would've had a bottom 3 with Eureka, Pandora and A'keria. Looking forward to next week!
July 22, 20214 yr Liked the episode but disagree with the winner Love Kylie and glad she didn’t bomb like I was expecting - but it felt like that situation where you reward the most improved child and not the one that actually did the best. I would have given the win to Ginger or Jan I do think it is such a strong season - so there is very little required to place in the bottom 2 Completely agree with the bottom 2 and who went. Was gutted for Ra’Jah as this has been such a transformation from her original season Can still see Kylie going next week, or Pandora who seems to be coasting through
July 22, 20214 yr I definitely feel like Pandora is being graded on a bell curve this season. What do you mean by this in relation to Pandora? I know a bell curve is but I'm still lost :unsure:

She is doing ok but they are giving her passes for not seeming to have come on much in the last 11 years.
July 22, 20214 yr That was probably the worst episode of RPDR I've seen. I was, and have been incredibly bored this entire season. Ru. Gurl. Take a break. Ginger or Kylie to win.
July 23, 20214 yr I thought Pandora deserved better in the challenge would have been high for me over Jan. But i did like Jan too so im not too upset. Jan's Runway. f*** ME. That is how you do Goth!! Kylie did amazing this ep so happy for her.

"awww poor Kylie struggled and hadn't gotten a win yet... let's just make her a winner this week for the lulz". Michelle LITERALLY SHOWED HER WHAT TO DO. If this isn't the most blatant way to keep Kylie in the competition and possibly justify her success down the line then I don't know what is! I like Kylie and it's not her fault but it's soooo frustrating.

She is doing ok but they are giving her passes for not seeming to have come on much in the last 11 years. i dont think this is fair.... i have loved a lot of her runways (last 2 weeks she has looked great) and she has clearly upped her game / modernised her look since season 2!

July 23, 20214 yr I am very happy Kylie won and I think it was a deserved win as well, she just showed star quality and embodied Jessica Lange so well. That lip sync was FAB as well, my god, she looks sensational and she WAS Xtina during the Stripped era. Very impressed with her. Ginger and Jan did well as well, although Jan was basically playing herself, so that wasn't much of a challenge. Trinity has, besides Kylie, the strongest runway for me.
