Lil Nas X leads the new entries on tonight's Official Chart First Look with That’s What I Want (10) from his new album Montero.

That's What I Want is the highest new entry of the week so far and one of three Lil Nas X tracks heading for the UK Official Chart Top 40. The US singer and rapper’s collaboration with Jack Harlow, Industry Baby, climbs five places midweek to Number 4, while further down Scoop ft. Doja Cat starts out at Number 34.

Ed Sheeran looks set for a second week at Number 1 with his latest single Shivers, while Elton John and Dua Lipa’s mash-up collaboration Cold Heart could hit a new peak on Friday, climbing two rungs midweek to Number 2.

Also heading for a new best this week is Joel Corry x Jax Jones ft. Charli XCX and Saweetie, their dance floor anthem Out Out could break the Top 5 for the first time, up two places midweek to Number 5.

Highest climber of the week so far comes courtesy of Nigerian artist CKay, Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah) sails seven places to Number 16 over the weekend. If the track maintains momentum, it will land rising Afrobeats star CKay his first ever UK Top 20 single after Love Nwantiti made its Top 40 debut just last week.

Elsewhere, big climbs ahead for Anne-Marie & Little Mix, Kiss My (Uh Oh) is up six places midweek to Number 12, while Ed Sheeran’s Visiting Hours also ascends five slots to Number 14 after 48 hours.

I assume Montero won’t have been reset yet - I expect it will be comfortably Top 20 by Friday.

Yes it's only #35 on Amazon (albums aren't much of a thing there) but I expect it could have a reset as early as tomorrow with another day's Spotify and Apple.

Cold Heart in the top 2!!! :o

I honestly thought it would go top 40 then out so this is the biggest shock in ages for me.

I would say the record company suspected that too!

Cold Heart is the best Elton John single since I Want Love and almost the best Dua single like... ever? It's up there with Physical I'd say. She sounds so good.

Although they have equal billing, since it's Elton's music entirely, I would day Dua is being featured and couldn't compare it to her own singles myself.

I would say the record company suspected that too!

They did manage to get Cold Heart on Today's Top Hits and Hot Hits early (but low) so I think they were hoping for it to do something. It got a huge boost from being Apple Music's Hottest Song for a week

I'm so happy it's turned into the hit it has! A few of us in the thread in the Dua forum had an inkling it would be

Also up to #2 on Amazon now only behind Bad Habits

I just saw the preorder for the album appear soon after it’s release but maybe that’s due to interest in the single!
IF Elton were to climb to #1, I think he’d be the second oldest act ever to reach the top spot (after Tom Moore ofc)

Dermot Kennedy looking on track for a new peak again this week, Ed Sheerans sales for shiver are lower than i expected.Album sales are low too, Steps had sold pretty much the same at number 2 this time last week than this weeks top 4 combined.
A very small gap between Lil Nas X and Bob Dylan

And Lil Nas X sold a LOT more yesterday so Bob Dylan's not a threat for #1 as things stand. It's more likely to be Lil Nas X vs Drake come Friday I'd say.
