Yes at this rate it's getting well over 20 million views by 24 hours. Seeing as she's as vocal as she is visual (if not more vocal), the UK streams from day 1 will likely get to 2 million

Love it! I genuinely reckon she could get upto 2 Million when it’s at its peak, the hype for her is unreal. TikTok have been going mad for her so that will help the hype.

I'm not a fan of Adele, and I don't particularly like the song but it's essentially everything her fans would wish for with a new Adele song, as far as I can hear, so I'm sure it will be absolutely massive. 10 million YouTube views in 6 hours is insane!

Would it not have had 5 hours in the United States? It debuts at #83 in United States with 289.487 streams.

Seems like almost everyone was wrong, its first day streams on Spotify UK were 91,734. :D

In all seriousness though, I went with 1.25m - 1.5m for both first day and peak.

I don't know when the cutoff for the Spotify chart in the UK actually is, it's obviously after midnight but not sure by how long - for comparison though, 'We're All Alone' and 'Verdansk' by Dave managed to sneak into the low top 200 a day early with 57/58k streams and went on to do 657k and 794k respectively on their proper first day. Adele doing 92k in that short timeframe does suggest then that she should be comfortably over 1 million first day indeed (especially as it being just one song makes repeat plays more likely compared to those two being album tracks). Crudely comparing to just 'Verdansk' since that obviously got more repeat plays out of the two, she'd be on course for a debut of around 1.31 million.
