January 7, 20224 yr Author Doja Cat having three more weeks on the playlist than any other song on the playlist - it definitely feels like it's outstayed its welcome at this point. The song count on the playlists is 16/13/11 this week, not sure if that will be the new normal going forward (it used to be 15/15/12). There's no mention of Tune Of The Weekend on the playlist so maybe they've scrapped it?
January 7, 20224 yr Wow. They have added HYYTS Singing Your Name (which has been out for a while) as BBC Introducing. Not sure how much that means it will get played, but hoping it gets the song out there a bit more as it's a cracking tune!!

January 7, 20224 yr Thought they'd have insta playlisted The Weeknd today, but they may not have known about it when they had their playlist meeting on Tuesday. Great to see the Adele track swapped over to the new single, but other than that nothing of interest for me.
January 7, 20224 yr Happy that Adele is moving on to 'Oh My God' now, definitely my favourite from the album. Also pleased to see the rises for 'Lauren' and 'edamame' plus the add for 'Tears In The Club'.

January 7, 20224 yr It's still not on the website - did they announce that on the radio? Yeah Scott Mills confirmed it. I imagine they're taking a similar approach to the Tune of the Week and keep that to broadcast only. If I hear it, I can confirm it weekly for you :)

They should focus on that and move on from EOM From a chart/airplay perspective, today is the first day of the Week that the UK airplay is now taking affect meaning Oh My God is now the label's current focus whereas Easy On Me being reset was last week. It is what it is and now we can enjoy single #2.

January 7, 20224 yr I was thinking the A-List looked slightly longer than usual, glad I am not going crazy! Love to see 'Reason' moving up, I don't see it becoming a hit now unfortunately but it is my favourite song to date from PinkPantheress. Removing Adele as she’s set to go back to #1.
