January 14, 20224 yr Author I know it's a quiet time of year but just three measly new additions?! They could have at least added Luude and Tame Impala if nothing else.
January 14, 20224 yr Thought the Weeknd would be a straight A List addition. If there was only one space they could give on the A List then it should have gone to Lost Frequencies rather than SZA in my humble opinion.

January 14, 20224 yr I feel like Radio 1 are holding off Alesso until it becomes a hit, not sure they want to support it when it's not particularly innovative (as much as I like it!) or by artists currently in the public interest. Also a little surprised 'I Hate U' is up to the A-List as it's tailing off at the moment, it's had it's chance to impact and hasn't done it!
January 14, 20224 yr I do with they playlisted Alesso and Muse. Also, I think R1 should play uncensored versions of explicit songs after 9pm for instance, if they play ABCDEFU after 9, they should play it in its explicit form

January 14, 20224 yr Author They did actually B-list one of the singles from the last album ('Thought Contagion') in 2018 so you never know, they might playlist this one, especially since the reception to it has been pretty positive.
January 16, 20224 yr Seems like it was barely worth them updating the playlist at all this week :kink: Still some good stuff here though, happy to see SZA, Fireboy DML and FKA twigs moving up (a good week for acts whose names are or contain 3 capital letters) and 'Sacrifice' being added (though also slightly surprised it wasn't straight to the A-List). The Tiësto song is alright as well, wasn't a fan on first listen but it's grown on me a bit.
