While I am happy that these two artists look like getting an overdue chart hit, I can't really like this song as I am too used to the original Cry For You :( There has been too many uses of well known samples in dance and dance-pop recently too imo.

A tuneee! First Charli single I'm liking in a while. The clubby, garage production is fab. I wouldn't have guessed Digital Farm Animals was involved at all, given his recent generic form
I should have known DFA were behind this, given the similarities to Anne-Marie’s Don’t Play :P
Debuts at #29 on British Spotify, that is pretty big for a new Charli song, isn't it?

And a second day at #49, so managing to hold onto the top 50! This should surely secure a top 40 debut, definitely very impressive for Charli and it’s not like Rina’s name would be encouraging for most anyway. It’s definitely there on connection with the GP and I’m thrilled to see it. Hope it can go from strength to strength

Didn't expect a garage track from Charli but she has history in switching up her sound I suppose.

I quite like it, there has been quite the resurgence of garage in the charts recently and that paired with a very familiar sample was always destined to bring about a chance of mainstream success.

I do like this... but sadly nowhere near as much as I like the original September single

Me too, I want to like it more ( I love both artists).. I mean I'm trying my best. The production though is weak af.

I’m really glad both are set to go top 40 especially Rina but it’s like they’ve went so generic and chart by numbers to do so!

But isn't that the whole idea behind this Charli era? She is clearly taking the piss and "playing the game". She has already said so multiple times.

I'm really baffled by this negativity!

I think the production is great and the song is unique in its own right

You could release something new and original and chart with it. I just think it’s quite generic but that’s just my opinion.

I like this but there definitely seems like it needs a bit more for it to stand out.

Also the production is so similar to Don’t Play that I’d rather just listen to that instead as it’s got more to it.

She tried with 'Good Ones', but it was obviously too good for us and we didn't deserve it.

I had no idea they were sampling September here so I was SO excited when I spotted it almost instantly. I love this, had no expectations so can't really be disappointed
