February 17, 20223 yr Sixth? I guess the 'single' part isn't completely correct but, yes, in essence, it is the sixth song from the album as it currently stands to go top 10. Bad Habits, Shivers, Visiting Hours, Overpass Graffiti, Merry Christmas and now The Joker & The Queen.
February 17, 20223 yr Lets not mix Grats and songs that weren't on the album and only added to a Spotify version of the album for 1 week in practice it's single 4 but it's not been released in its original form but as a brand new duet not available on the album so for me it's more like a brand new single rather than single number 6 lol

February 17, 20223 yr The 3 track rule has nothing to do with it when he has released all those singles/grats separately (only OG charted as an album track iirc). It's like The Weeknd releasing new collaborations every two weeks, only with better chart positions.

I have to laugh. I mean, the signed CDs aren't counted yet, it's probably fair to assume he would be comfortably top 5 with those added. And none of that really matters when people aren't connecting in a big way with the song. It could still pick up but I think it's clear The Joker and the Queen isn't going to be the next Perfect as things stand. Love him or hate him, 6 top 10s from one album is hugely impressive - Justin Bieber's Ghost becoming the 6th top 20 hit from Justice last week made me consider how many other recent albums have achieved that (as in, since the 3-track rule came in), and I was struggling to think of many at all. = would join that list and not only would it be 6 top 20 hits, but 6 top 10s!
February 17, 20223 yr It’ll be top 10 of not top 5 with whatever single and post album release so he’s doing fine. Again LM did this all the time post Xmas to get a top 10 hit so it’s not new and again he’s promoting his new single why would you not try and make some effort to promote it, provide fans cd single and release a remix. Every record in chart history has got to No1 with these tactics it’s not new and it’s hardly a bad thing.

True, I just meant that in theory the fact you can’t get loads from an album bomb makes it harder (though the album tracks didn’t do well enough to make the top 10 anyway this time round).
