Played this a couple of times now and I really like it! Surprised to see it doing so well already but not complaining.

LazyBaby to become a hit too! It's literally 'Say So' so has TikTok potential!

 

This song is good but I'm just kinda surprised it's taken off so instantly like it has? I guess she's been building momentum and was soon to have a track hit the big time.

It's got quite a unique queer twist to it too. Really liking this! It's like if someone put 'I Did Something Bad' by Taylor Swift through a 50 Shades Of Gray filter and this was the result. Which I support x

I’m liking this. Reminds me of Maggie Lindemann’s most recent era

I like the song. It reminds me in style of Grace and G'Eazy's version of 'You Don't Own Me'.

I'm liking this and I'm glad she's FINALLY getting a hit cos I've been perched for Dove to breakout since she first announced she was stepping into music in like 2017, but I am mad that Dove finally getting hit has come at the cost of removing every song she's released from all streaming sites/YouTube etc to mark Boyfriend as her breakthrough/'debut' single :angry: :angry: Justice for all the bops I've been stanning that she's released over her career like Remember Me, We Belong & Lazybaby :cry:

I for one fully support her distancing herself from 'LazyBaby' :teresa:

 

(I'm not really sure what is gained from them trying to erase her older material in all seriousness - assuming this was a label decision rather than her personally wanting them deleted for some reason - it's not like people can't just look her up on Google / YouTube / Wikipedia and easily find her older songs lol)

They’ve deleted all her old music vids on YouTube as well! Though of course there are now reuploads by fans instead.

She's selling signed CDS for this and they're UK exclusive. £1.99 with free shipping so pretty cheap.

 

They're out on Friday so looks like they're really pushing for this to make the top 10 next week. I hope it can manage it!

The follow up, Breakfast, deserved so much more :(.

'Breakfast' was 1000000x better than 'Boyfriend' in every way, and the video was so powerful.

 

It doing nothing at all was so unjust.

boyfriend's success came out of nowhere so i'm surprised breakfast didnt follow suit... maybe their too sonically similiar?

It’s the same with a lot of TikTok hits that failed to have big follow-ups, people seem to be there for the song rather than the artist in most cases.
