Posted February 14, 20223 yr This week's challenge is a West End inspired Rusical, in which the girls must embody iconic roles from musicals! This seems like a great cast for a Rusical, Janey gave probably my fave Rusical ever alongside Gigi and Jaida from S12 so I'd definitely keep an eye on her this week but this seems like Mo, Juju and Baga's bag too plus Pangina is of course a great performer!
February 15, 20223 yr the lipsync omg. Never would've guess that song would appear but omg was LIVING. The winner absolutely smashed the whole episode, challenge, runway and lip sync *.* Also gooped at who went. Made for great TV no matter who went though but I did see it coming...
February 15, 20223 yr Author I do get where Pangina was coming from, she basically said that she was judging based on this challenge and Jimbo was flat out the worst. And that's a very Drag Race Thailand thing to happen so given she has been a judge, I get it. But it is sad that Jujubee has given NOTHING in 3 episodes and it still there. I don't think she was terrible this week but she just did the absolute bare minimum required, and that seemed like a part that was kind of made to be a wining one if she just put a bit of effort in! So based on the challenge ,she deserved probably low rather than bottom, but she shouldn't even still be in the competition putting so little effort in. Janey and Pangina both killed it, especially Pangina! That lipsync was INSANE, she is such an incredible performer. Blu did very well too, although I am really bored of the whole horny jokes every 2 seconds, I love her personality and want to see more of it it feels like she is hiding behind horny jokes and the same bog standard shade every week. For me: WIN: Pangina Top 2: Janey Low: Jujubee BTM2: Baga, Jimbo Yet again Baga isn't even critiqued and is just allowed to have a stinking attitude, I'm glad Pangina called her out on it! She goes on about being a performer, she literally gets a chance to do that and still sulks? "I do Liza Minelli in my shows" ok? Go back and do that then, I honestly don't know why she wanted to do this show if she just wanted to do her same handful of things she can do and not do the challenges properly. She put less effort into that performance than Juju imo, you could FEEL the negative sulky energy and for someone who likes to claim to be such a good actress and performer, surely she could work any character.

February 15, 20223 yr Blu was a nailed on top 2 for me so it's disappointing to see Janey get another top. Interestingly I definitely think Mo and Juju manipulated the other queens at the start with the talk of Jimbo 'breaking an alliance' which wasn't at all my interpretation of what happened - Jimbo always said IF I save you will you save me, not WHEN I save you or I WILL save you.
February 16, 20223 yr I’ve never been more gagged with an elimination. What the hell. Jimbo was the one to beat. I get that maybe Pangina was scared to eliminate a fan fave but I’m scared to imagine what’s happening in her DMs now 😖
February 16, 20223 yr It was a fun episode, with a very disappointing outcome. I do get Pangina, if she was making her decision on the challenge itself, Jimbo was definitely the worst. BUT JuJu is still giving us nothing, she has had her chances and keeps disappointing. Also her runway outfit was, again, a choice. Pangina is a very deserving winner though. She did so well and that lip sync, wow. I have to see Janey impressed me during the challenge as well, although the lip sync really felt like "person at the club doing a dance". And that outfit :lol: Yikes. Loved the fact we got a Vengaboys song though. And how cute is Jonathan?? And Baga just needs to go. So unprofessional. February 16, 20223 yr i also don’t understand why they were doing shady judges reactions for blu’s part. she was clearly in thé top 3 for thé challenge. i feel like production saved baga and put jimbo in the bottom cos they thought she would never be sent home. now they have ended up with thé favourite out and someone they THOUGHT would be popular in for no good reason. janey and pangina have to make it to thé end now at least anyway.
February 16, 20223 yr Thought overall it was a crap episode; the songs were terrible, most of them did average in my opinion. Although I do think it was the correct top 2. Bottom 2 should have been Juju and Baga imo as they were both dead behind the eyes ! Jimbo should have just scraped safe imo!
February 16, 20223 yr aHonestly can't really stand rusicals so I find it difficult to judge when I didn't really enjoy any of it, but Jimbo definitely stood out to me as the worst in the challenge, she didn't really give any characterisation in her part and her justifications after seemed to suggest she didn't really understand the point of the entire challenge. That said, it's a shame to see her out. I've not seen the Canadian show but based on episodes 1 and 2, Jimbo felt like a huge contender, but as soon as she was in the bottom, I knew she'd be a goner after the conversations at the start of the episode :drama: A shame even if it's somewhat justified base on this week's episode.
February 16, 20223 yr I actually think Juju should have been the one to be safe from the bottom 2. Her performance didn't wow me but it was competent and precise. She did a decent job! Jimbo and Baga were the clear bottom 2 to me.
