Another little thing that makes me lean me in favour of the 'someone else is the killer' theory is that in the very final shot of the flashforward after Sharon declares "he's dead", her gaze is looking just out of shot. As it's likely the Christmas episode will end with the same sequence, that doof doof moment could be the one missing shot showing the killer.

omg i'm obsessed

Kellie Bright said that she was "completely, completely shocked" when she found out who is going to die on Christmas Day and it was not what she thought it would be. Diane Parish was also "gobsmacked" when she found out.

Make of that what you will!

Another thing which also plays into Gina doing it is that her and Anna are meant to be working Christmas day but now they're going to Cindy's, they're obviously going to be at the Vic at some point though but Cindy would provide an alibi in a heartbeat just as she almost did for George (if I'm remembering correctly with the Dean takes a tumble plot)
Hmm I still think Nish. Keanu would be my second choice, killed by Sharon for tryna steal het and Phil's dosh.

As expected no early iPlayer release tomorrow but Boxing Day's episode will be available from 6am that day.

BBC There are also doing a The Six Aftermath show straight after the main event tomorrow

I just went back and watched the 20th February episode and the amount of foreshadowing in it is genius. The first male characters who appear/are mentioned are all the contenders to die. The talk about Christmas in February was another clever touch. The script writers knew exactly what they were doing and they've done a good job.

I watched that episode again yesterday. The very first scene is an extra walking into the pub. From the back I thought it was Rocky but it isn’t. I am wondering if they are hinting at the victim being a case of mistaken identity.

My prediction from the beginning is that Rocky is the death mainly because I think Brian Conley would have left a while ago if wasn’t for this storyline.

I called it since February!!  #psychicbeaver. I said Nish, then my second choice was Keanu!!!

So Nish didn't die? So they could frame him for Keanu's murder then? If he gets up off the floor any time soon anyway

Very well done, with the setup from February not being the ultimate murder scene in the end.

Yuck at Dean still safe. Worried for Gina now.

Oh, he didn't?? CPR doesn't work like that, especially vs a traumatic head injury, so he should be...

Linda being the killer was the last thing I expected! The fake out and Nish still being alive in the last minute or so was genius. That was so exceptionally done, I was kind of thinking ffs it’s Nish that’s so obvious and was a little disappointed, as great as the episode was. The fact that the person we saw them react to in the flash forward wasn’t actually the victim.

This is excellent for Kellie though and exactly what she deserves to be in the spotlight rather than this Dean storyline. Absolutely stellar and I was gripped to the last second, amazing.

Wow wow wow. I was a bit like Liam initially there thinking ugh it's just gonna be Nish and then when Keanu walked in you just knew something else was going to go down! I had absolutely no inkling it would be Linda. Definitely jumping on the iPlayer episode tomorrow as soon as I'm up

Switching over to BBC Three afterwards to watch Chris tell Kellie she was the killer was a great moment.

Amazing. I’ve had a feeling about Keanu for so long even though Nish and Jack seemed quite likely of late, I just knew Keanu couldn’t remain after what he’d done. As soon as he entered, I realised that Nish was probably not dead. Linda being the killer I didn’t see coming at all, when Denise hit Nish I thought they’d gone too obvious as we’ve known she had the bottle for months. And omg Suki’s short lived relief that she could tell Denise that she hadn’t killed Nish and then seeing Keanu’s body.

Will be interesting to see tomorrow’s episode! Rocky will be leaving soon and I guess it’ll be a pretty low key exit now and it was nice to see Ravi turn into somewhat of a hero. Poor Bernie too, she’ll carry some guilt for a while over this.

Pretty sure the whole cast bar Freddie appeared too, classic Christmas episode. It did not disappoint.

That was gripping right until the end,

well I knew Keanu has left Eastenders he was on The One Show quite recent. Poor Bernie on her own now, she should have left with Karen & Mitch, as I don't know where she fits in now.

Not forgetting Deano probably heard everything what was going on downstairs surely.
