March 23, 20223 yr 'no tears' is the clear fave, I'd put 'positions' in 2nd just going by personal taste, however worst I haven't gone for the song I dislike the most (which would be Problem) because at the time it made sense and there is no other song on 'My Everything' that could have taken the lead in my eyes. So I've gone with 'Dangerous Woman' for worst because I despite how luxuriously gorgeous it is, there are other songs on the album which could have been a stronger lead but then a slower jam was always going to be a risk. 1. no tears left to cry 2. positions 3. thank u, next 4. The Way 5. Problem 6. Dangerous Woman Edited March 23, 20223 yr by JulianaGrande
March 23, 20223 yr Clear favourite here in no tears left to cry and Problem is also quite a clear least favourite. The rest are all fairly sort of close but I think I’d say 1. no tears left to cry 2. thank u, next 3. Dangerous Woman 4. positions 5. The Way 6. Problem
March 23, 20223 yr Best - No Tears Left To Cry Worst - The Way Dangerous Woman really doesn't feel like a lead single even though it is on a technicality. All have been pretty good to be fair!
March 23, 20223 yr 01. no tears left to cry (magical, one of her best) 02. Dangerous Woman (slow burner, appreciate how different it is compared to other Ari leads) 03. positions (over a year on and this is holding up well for me) 04. thank u, next (have always loved the lyrics, sonically it has been a real grower) 05. Problem (has definitely aged but not bad) 06. The Way (has a nostalgic place in my heart but not as memorable as the rest of the list)
March 23, 20223 yr I did think this thread seemed a little familiar  :kink: ('Dangerous Woman' falling from 3rd to 6th in Julian's ranking in less than a year :o my own votes are still the same, 'no tears left to cry' easily the best, 'positions' a comfortable 2nd and then I'm not a massive fan of any of the others, would probably go 'Problem' > 'thank u, next' > 'The Way' > 'Dangerous Woman' with the former 3 being fairly close with each other - I see I didn't elaborate on my ranking of 3rd-5th in the other thread, would not be surprised if I would have ranked them slightly differently then).
March 23, 20223 yr I did think this thread seemed a little familiar  :kink: ('Dangerous Woman' falling from 3rd to 6th in Julian's ranking in less than a year :o I love that I didn't even remember making the original post. Well it's funny, my original ranking still holds true in how much I like each one (except 'The Way' & Problem have switched), but this time I was comparing them to how strong they are compared to other tracks on the album... for whatever reason. Well that and I'm slightly unstable. B-) :P
