Completely torn now!!!

Im actually happy with the country I have. They have a couple of artists in their catalogue that overlap nicely with my taste so now I need to decide if I send potential A or potential B or potential C

I'm glad to see that most people seem to be pleased with who they got! It makes it more fun when you have a whole bunch of potentials and it's exciting for the person your representing to see who you end up picking. I have an immediate potential by an artist i already adore but I might have a troll through some other options to see if there's something more inspired :kink:

I have a bunch of ideas, a couple of less-inspired directions did leap out to me immediately but I've also got a couple of options that I think would be a lot better already ^^

So, I have settled on TWO entries, which are the biggest cross-over in sound between the two nations, and I could easily have sent either track. Both sangs are very representative of BOTH our sounds. Now, I could send the MOST Beaverdonian one, but that is one I could send at ANY time in the main contest. As for the other, it's possible the main contest veto would get it, hmm. So, what to doooo, who to choose, which Hamlet decision to make?? The cheaper one which I canet normally send, or thr less-cheap one which is slightly more emblematic of us both, but which I, or she could tbh, could send whenever, wherever?

I'd go for the cheap one so that if you're ever in need of an entry you can go back to your other potential

I think my country choice should be fairly straightforward for me to find something for so happy with that!

I thought I actually had a song I liked enough to send to a contest without having to go searching but then read the rules properly and realised another act on it is a past Utopia representative, so back to the drawing (listening) board for me

When you settle on an entry (after listening to it 8-10 times) then YouTube starts playing something even better from the same act... damn.

I hope whoever gets me sends something I like! You have a wide range of genres to choose from!

 

Quite satisfied with my own country, I had lowkey planned to wait it out and just get assigned but it worked out nicely this way!

Wow so it just so happens I have an artist on my potentials list that would be eligible :o I love it so it's tempting to submit right away but I wanna do a least a lil bit of research.

 

As it turns out I have opted against this and remembered another entry I really loved. This act has a great back catalogue so deciding on an entry was tricky but very fun all the same.

The country I've got has one act that I would absolutely love to send as their latest single is amazing, however I've gone for something less obvious from their list of entries as I was flicking through other tracks by acts on their list and this one unexpectedly grabbed me.
