So as you can see, two 10 points but on quick glance, it looks like a 12 for Mosquetania and a 10 for Kylienips and nothing for Cor Lupus...

 

When I realised this, I resent my votes with Cor Lupus as my 10 points and everything else knocked down a position but after the deadline had passed I realised... I SENT THAT PM TO MYSELF not to JOHN so I think he didn't add 10 points to Cor Lupus and instead ignored that because it's hard to see it's there in the initial votes?

 

John - can you confirm this

 

I don't think it affects the qualifying results?? So it's all ok but just to clarify :drama:

 

Pretty much this, I probably should have noticed it but gave the 10 to Kylienips. It made no difference to the qualifiers thankfully.

Aquafina deserved much better than last place! Although it does mean I almost definitely shot myself in the foot giving them my +12 in the semi :lol: Ah well.

PHEW! I kept trying to do the maths with different possibilities and none of them resulted in any changes to qualifiers so I'm happy that's the case. So let's just sweep this under the carpet and Cody you can relish in the fact that you actually got 10 extra points in the semi xx

My scores all match with John's this time so can swiftly verify the scoreboard hooray (with only one minor correction, Terra Avium should be ahead of Skall as the latter have a pre-rounding score of 125.8).

Oh I do hope I finish 7th as that would be a unique position. I don't think I got a single 18 skimming through the thread but a lot of mealworm points so that bodes well on that front. Edit: Yay. Thanks to all the votes, a pop entry paying off again! It's been a few years now (Cam being the previous one).

 

Well done to Lotunia, a very soaring track that was no surprise to see win. Impressed with FSR Rontvia in second, normally short songs (under 2 and a half minutes short I'm talking) don't have a great track record I'm thinking so that's great to see as it was the best pop entry this month imo. Actually my entire top 7 finished in the top half so this is a very pleasing set of results.

I was so happy to finally be able to put FAR Rontvia back on top of the Áskorzjan vote, it’s been way too long.

 

 

 

A little sad for Nina’s placing but tbh it was a back up to my back up entry so I’m not too heartbroken. Love it nonetheless

Happy to see that Lookylion did pick up later on in the results and finished with a medal position (and by quite some way at that!), 9th for it the last time I checked felt far too low for what seemed to me should surely be absolute catnip for the pop fans - only a few points off being another silver for Claudia in the end, that's more like it. The Holy Molly song's appeal is entirely lost on me I'm afraid but well done Rich, not too far off finally being another winner for you, surely has to happen again one of these days.

 

Once again only a small handful of songs I voted for in the top 10 (boosted from 3 to 4 courtesy of Hendinia's deduction x) but it's a really great surprise to see Jadakissnia being one of the ones in the mix there, I definitely didn't get big hit vibes from this song at all (certainly less so than I did for their last couple of entries which fell short of the top 10!), glad to see Aeroche in the top 5 + Jupiterdonia and Kathaldazia up there too even if the latter needed the Hendinia deduction to scrape 10th. Some good stuff lining up just outside the top 10, Taahino and POPHub finishing next to each other feels very appropriate :lol: (they very nearly were in my own votes too but I ended up being slightly more into 'High Hopes' so happy that ended up as the higher of the two). Meanwhile all of my top 3 ending up between 25th and 30th, I think I'd have predicted a little better for Land of DW and maybe Pestolia but that's a fairly good showing for Greenfroze.

 

Me having an entry that gets its one and only medal position from Altyr Muunilinst certainly wasn't on my bingo card for this year (or any year) :lol: Shame to have just missed the top 20 but that's still solidly my 2nd biggest hit of the year so far so am fairly happy with that, clearly not the kind of song that stands out enough to get the biggest points from anyone but getting 22nd with only one medal position is really not bad, received votes from 25 people which is actually my best of the year so far by some distance (even my top 10 hit only got 19 voters) so that's a win for wide appeal B-)

I have an entry lined up for next month already (was actually torn between it and Yumi Zouma for this month but I held off on it as I thought someone else might have been planning to send it and didn't want to step on toes, the person in question didn't send it in the end though so I'm in the clear for next month I hope), excited to share that one as I am cautiously optimistic it might do quite well.

A surprisingly comfortable qualification for me! (also nice to see I had a points swap with Greenfroze in the semi even if not in the final). Oops at me being one of only 5 people who didn't vote for M83 in the semi :kink:

being honorable top 3 in the semi and getting that final result makes ZERO SENSE but I should be used to semi results making no sense by now
