Tottenham have announced they will put in an extra £150m this summer to help "invest in the club on and off the pitch."

Spurs' owner Daniel Levy and the ENIC group say the move supports "on pitch performance whilst at the same time maintaining long-term financial stability."

Honestly I think a number of Spurs players would have left the club if they had the choice in the event of no champions league football, but now that they are, I suspect the likes of Kane and Son to stay.

That's a lot of money! Will be interesting to see how much of that money will be allocated towards buying players.

I've also just seen that Man City are looking at Kalvin Phillips - hoping that one doesn't go through!

Tottenham are set to make Fraser Forster their first signing of the summer.

The experienced goalkeeper has agreed to join Spurs on a free transfer from Southampton when his contract expires on June 30.

The 34-year-old will count towards Spurs' homegrown players quota, with current on-loan backup 'keeper Pierluigi Gollini expected to return to Atalanta.

Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Brazil centre-back Diego Carlos from Sevilla for £26m.

The 29-year-old, who Newcastle United tried to sign in January, will travel to England on Thursday for a medical and to finalise personal terms.

He would be Villa's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Boubacar Kamara from Marseille on a free transfer.

Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson has signed for Leeds United on a five-year deal.

Sky Sports Newsunderstands the 21-year-old has joined for a fee of €29m (£24.7m). The move will be completed on July 1.

Nice to see Leeds bringing in their first signing of the season! I wonder how much us having an American manager has to with his move (and I hope he gets used to the accent!)

Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic is set to have a medical at Tottenham Hotspur on Monday and is expected to join the Premier League club on a two-year deal.

The 33-year-old's contract with Inter expires at the end of June.

Croatia international Perisic worked with Spurs boss Antonio Conte when the latter guided Inter to the Serie A title in the 2020-21 campaign.

Pogba's contract will expire at the end of June at Manchester United and Europe's biggest clubs are preparing to pounce to bag him on a free transfer.
Confirmed by the club and by Pogba himself that he's leaving. I wont miss him, he was too inconsistent throughout his whole time at United. He seemed to always play much better for France than for United as well. Hopefully the first of many more departures to come this summer.
I'll always be grateful for the goal in the 2017 Europa League final. And that performance away at Man City in 2018. Otherwise I could count the number of genuinely great games for us on one hand.
