June 6, 20224 yr With Ed at 9 and 10, it looks like he will have his 50th consecutive week in the top 10 on Friday night.
June 6, 20224 yr With Ed at 9 and 10, it looks like he will have his 50th consecutive week in the top 10 on Friday night. I don’t know Green Green Grass and LF System could knock them out if they carry on climbing
June 6, 20224 yr The fact that this forum could have collectively downloaded 21 copies of Space Man last week to prevent this from happening 😜 😂 If only I'd moved my own purchases from Sam's peak week into last week, we'd have been halfway there! It's frustrating both that Sam's top ten run was ended by 20 copies and that the incredibly average and tired Peru is STILL there.
June 6, 20224 yr Kate Bush also makes the top 10 in the US at #8!! Kate Bush’s 1985 hit “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 8, surging past its prior No. 30 high, fueled by its synch in Netflix’s Stranger Things. The fourth season of the ’80s-set show, which premiered May 27, incorporates the song in multiple episodes, serving as a recurring theme for the character of Max Mayfield, played by Sadie Sink. (Bush is a fan of the series, and, in a rare move for her music, approved the song’s usage in it after reviewing script pages and footage outlining how it would be incorporated.)
June 6, 20224 yr Looks like all the songs on DCL-2 last week did indeed go to ACR except you know which. Here's hoping the climb for House On Fire isn't enough for a reset. That drop for The Sex Pistols to #24 since yesterday is bigger than anything else that was top 5 in First Look has had the following day.
June 6, 20224 yr It's limited to 6K and sales already accounted for, so can't add much, will end up #75 sadly
June 6, 20224 yr That climb into the Top 20 for Big Energy doesn't seem to be materialising. I guess we'll never know for sure if that week with the video streams glitch resulted in Starlight going to ACR 2 weeks later than it should have, but if so it would be the second time some bogus video streams cost Mariah after the Jukebox Heaven thing with AIWFCIY in 2019.

That drop for The Sex Pistols to #24 since yesterday is bigger than anything else that was top 5 in First Look has had the following day. I doubt HOF will have done enough for a reset. What caused it to climb? If it’s cause of the jubilee, it doesn’t seem to have that much of an effect
June 6, 20224 yr I doubt HOF will have done enough for a reset. What caused it to climb? If it’s cause of the jubilee, it doesn’t seem to have that much of an effect It’s up 16 places to #39 in the midweeks so it’s had a pretty decent effect…
June 6, 20224 yr Those sales are terrible for Post Malone! Not great for Liam in his second week either. Considering most of Liams sales come from physicals whether that’s vinyl or cd doesn’t make it too surprising surely!
June 6, 20224 yr Nice to see Sam Ryder back in the top 5 today, so hopefully should be at the very least safe for a top 10 re-entry this week. I'm personally all for 'Preu' continuing to stick around in the top 10 right now considering the very subpar (to put it generously) songs currently at #11 and #12, could do without either of those ever making the top 10 although I expect they both will eventually if not this week. Would be here for LF SYSTEM to surge more over the week though, great to see them in the top 20 now anyway. Looks like Post Malone will likely be settling for a #3 album debut then, not surprised at him being behind Harry of course but I did think after his fairly decent (if still a big step down from previous eras as expected) Spotify showing and the tracks not falling too hard in the couple of days since that he'd be a comfortable #2, oops. I wonder if he could have done a bit better if he'd pushed a different single, I've seen a lot of comments from people that were confused at 'Cooped Up' being chosen as a single. Cool to see Burna Boy at #41 and hope he can rise to the top 40 by the end of the week, haven't heard the song yet but it feels very overdue for him to get a solo / lead artist top 40 hit!
June 6, 20224 yr The Doja duet is great so maybe that should have been a pre-album single. I'm still hoping its stability on Spotify so far could see it become a bigger hit.
June 6, 20224 yr Harry Styles is holding up very well with album sales, should be around 20k again this week which is great for a 3rd week,.
June 6, 20224 yr Would Kate Bush also break the record for the longest gap between #1 singles (44 years)? The longest I think of is Tom Jones (43 years) - does anyone have a list maybe?
June 6, 20224 yr It’s up 16 places to #39 in the midweeks so it’s had a pretty decent effect… Might have a decent effect but I can’t see it going back to SCR
June 7, 20224 yr Im actually surprised Preu is top 10, it's no longer doing that well looking at all the data, George Ezra-Green Green Grass seems to be doing much better than Preu on Apple, Green Green Grass is #10 and Preu #22 on Amazon, Green Green Grass is #3 and Preu #5 on itunes, Green Green Grass is #3 while Preu is down to #65 only place Preu is slightly ahead is Spotify but yesterday they did virtually the same
June 7, 20224 yr Yes the original must be doing significant streams still - it's often surprising how much effect combining multiple versions has. Side note: if you put "Preu" in the search engine for this forum, it currently returns 35 threads.
