June 24, 20224 yr Author 22 | 20 | 6th week Burna Boy Last Last 2nd single from Love, Damini Released: 12th May 2022 Label: Atlantic Recording Corporation Chart Statistics NE (26/05/2022) | 58-55-44-29-20-22 Sales: 50k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 68 Sales 30 Audio Streaming 21 Video Streaming Video 421w1j87fEM Biography Nigerian singer Burna Boy opened his Apple Music Up Next spotlight with a distinction: “Music’s supposed to be a universal language. You understanding what I’m saying is second. The primary thing is, what does the person inside you hear?” It’s a simple but radical thought: You can listen on your terms, but he doesn’t have to meet you halfway. Born in 1991 and raised on the southern coast of Nigeria before moving to London for college, Burna (born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) has become one of the most prominent African pop artists of the 21st century, fusing his specific background—a Nigerian man entering adulthood in the United Kingdom—with a global vision that encompasses Afrobeats, dancehall, trap, UK hip-hop and just about everything else that might fit under his diasporic umbrella. The result is an artist who isn’t confined by his identity but doesn’t dilute it either. By the time he received broader recognition through a (conspicuously uncredited) feature on Drake’s 2017 mix, More Life, he was already a star in Africa; 2019’s African Giant, which featured collaborators as disparate as Angélique Kidjo, Skrillex, Damian Marley and Future, brought him into international focus. Yeah, he’s just speaking to his people. But there are more of them all the time. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2017 88 Good Time (J Hus feat. Burna Boy) 2019 06 Location (Dave feat. June 24, 20224 yr Author 21 | | 1st week Beyoncé BREAK MY SOUL 1st single from RENAISSANCE Released: 21st June 2022 Label: Parkwood Entertainment Chart Statistics NE (30/06/2022) | 21 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Audio Streaming TBA Video Streaming Video yjki-9Pthh0 Biography Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biːˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-YON-say; née Knowles; born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Beyoncé performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Their hiatus saw the release of her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003), which featured the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". Following the 2006 disbanding of Destiny's Child, she released her second solo album, B'Day, which contained singles "Irreplaceable" and "Beautiful Liar". Beyoncé also starred in multiple films such as The Pink Panther (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), Obsessed (2009), and The Lion King (2019). Her marriage to Jay-Z and her portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), which earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010. It spawned the successful singles "If I Were a Boy", "Single Ladies", and "Halo". After splitting from her manager and father Mathew Knowles in 2010, Beyoncé released her musically diverse fourth album 4 in 2011. She later achieved universal acclaim for her sonically experimental visual albums, Beyoncé (2013) and Lemonade (2016), the latter of which was the world's best-selling album of 2016 and the most acclaimed album of her career, exploring themes of infidelity and womanism. In 2018, she released Everything Is Love, a collaborative album with her husband, Jay-Z, as the Carters. As a featured artist, Beyoncé topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the remixes of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran in 2017 and "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The same year, she released the musical film and visual album Black Is King to widespread acclaim. Beyoncé is one of the world's best-selling recording artists, having sold over 120 million records worldwide as a solo artist by 2010. She is the first solo artist to have their first six studio albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200. Her success during the 2000s was recognized with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)'s Top Certified Artist of the Decade as well as Billboard's Top Female Artist of the Decade. Beyoncé's accolades include 28 Grammy Awards, 26 MTV Video Music Awards (including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 2014), 24 NAACP Image Awards, 31 BET Awards, and 17 Soul Train Music Awards; all of which are more than any other singer. In 2014, Billboard named her the highest-earning black musician of all time, while in 2020, she was included on Time's list of 100 women who defined the last century. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2002 07 Work It Out -OST- 2003 02 '03 Bonnie & Clyde (Jay-Z feat. June 24, 20224 yr Author I'll make this my last one - Jim will be hosting the rest of the show! (without the full info posts unfortunately but I'll edit those in later) Reminder that the sales rip tonight will also be late so please hold fire!
June 24, 20224 yr I'm still finding it quite cool that songs like Last Last written entirely in Pidgin can make it into the charts nowadays!
June 24, 20224 yr Wow really impressive debut from Beyonce considering it's only been available since Tuesday! Loving this at the moment, hopefully Top 5 next week!
June 24, 20224 yr I have to admit this has grown so much! First listen I thought meh, now I feel it’s a banger :yahoo:
June 24, 20224 yr Was really hoping she'd slip into the top 20, but #21 is fantastic after only 3 days of tracking!

June 24, 20224 yr Oooh, I was wondering how high this might get. Wish we could see how it would have done with a full week.
June 24, 20224 yr Glad to see OneRepublic already dropping. The comparisons to 'Feel It Still' are low key offensive tbh (I mean I do get it but it's Tesco Value 'Feel It Still' at best). 'Stay The Night' is definitely an improvement from 'Melody' but it's still firmly meh so hope that doesn't go too much higher either. On a more positive note I am really liking 'Last Last' now - thought it was decent but with potential to grow on first listen and it has already grown a lot! Shame that has fallen this week but top 20 is still a good achievement already given Burna's previous lack of solo success, still hope it can yet peak higher. #21 in only three days is great for Beyoncé - higher than 'The Heart Part 5' with one fewer day (although tbf that wasn't a proper single).
