Well yes really, although the OCC appear to have treated Separate Ways as a new song since it's as high as #99 in the mids.

 

I would guess that it is on ACR and it's just higher than you'd think because it has 2 versions - of course the one that's charting on Spotify is the new remix from Stranger Things though so arguably not an 80s song for that reason.

 

Incidentally though, like 'Master Of Puppets' that song is another one that has never charted before in the UK. I've also never heard of it to my knowledge (not sure I have heard any other songs of theirs bar 'Don't Stop Believin'') but it was a top 10 hit in the US.

Well as we now know it depends on if the labels push for it or not - if the Metallica song looks like hanging around high up in a similar way to Kate Bush I wouldn't be surprised if they ask for a reset for that as well (and then one would assume the OCC will probably allow that if so). I'm not sure the incentive really exists to bother asking for resets for songs that wouldn't be charting that highly anyway like The Clash.

1986-1993 was the Levi's advert old songs (including that Clash song)/Reet Petite/Young at Heart era, quite a few old songs making #1 or #2 during this time!

Looks like Tears For Fears' performance in Telford on Friday is strong enough to push them into the top 50 lol

I noticed it's been on the Amazon top 100 for some time now, which can only be tiktok related :D

I really hope Stargirl climbs the charts. I LOVE starboy (The Album). And i hope there comes a day when Lana and the Weeknd collab once more. I mean, it has been 5 years since LUST FOR LIFE.
