August 2, 20223 yr Central Che being just top 30 on Amazon kinda explains why it's only at #5 today I guess, otherwise it would be fighting for the top #ThanksAlexa :D sure Beyonce wouldn't be selling 20K vinyls from amazon or from indie stores lol but if her store had 4/5 different vinyls, those would be selling like crazy... but Beyonce is a businesswoman, they rather you buy those expensive exclusive boxes with the t-shirt and all that stuff and gets lots of $$$ even if it doesn't count for the charts :D
August 2, 20223 yr I've just read that apparently 0 vinyls have been reported by her team so far. Does that mean that they've just not reported yet, or that all the website sales have counted for the US, despite shipping worldwide?

August 2, 20223 yr yes, it doesn't matter where you buy, it matters where the credit card used to pay is from... if you buy from her US store but with a UK credit card and address and all, it should count for the UK charts... thats how I've always understood it at least...
August 2, 20223 yr I actually thought that the opposite is true, that it has to be purchased from a UK store to count to the UK chart. Beyoncé's shop is a US store. I'm pretty sure that US exclusive releases such as One Direction's first two albums on vinyl would have shown up in the UK vinyl chart had they been eligible, but they never did. Thousands of copies were produced of those albums and generally you can make the Top 40 of the vinyl album chart with less than 200 copies sold... and I'm sure those One Direction albums will have been snapped up by more than 200 UK buyers. Maybe future mids will make things clearer, but for now it seems that her store exclusive vinyl and CD box sets aren't eligible to be counted here.

My Renaissance vinyl arrived yesterday, having been shipped over the weekend, with the return address being somewhere in Leeds? But it was the US Store I got it from. Who knows! Missed opportunity any which way.
August 2, 20223 yr Must be coming up to 50 plays from the Chart Show and First Look combined for this! Just checked the Friday threads since Where Did You Go? dropped out of the Top 10, and it looks like it was skipped only once, on 20 May when it fell 10-13, but it was played twice one week (3 June), so that's still 25 Chart Show plays in as many weeks so far! (It wouldn't have been skipped while in the Top 10 or on its way up.) It's been outside the First Look top 20 on only one of the last 24 weeks, but there was another week with no First Look, and again it looks like just one week where it was actually skipped - so that's 21 First Look plays, and 46 combined so far, could still reach 50 indeed! :drama:
