One has to seriously question the logic behind not making the vinyl widely available in UK stores. It’s all a little silly, really. Especially when vinyl’s are such a big thing right now, especially in the UK.

Also, it seems like those pose boxsets do not count for the UK charts.

Ooh pretty close in the singles but guess Bey’s streams are dropping off now so she won’t get any closer. Shows dropping the video could have done it though.

And Harry could be on for an 18th week in the Top 3 after all - Central Cee might overtake George but looks too far behind Harry given they’re doing similar Spotify numbers.

Beyonce should still do like 25k so it's not bad for album that gets most of its units from streaming.

Drake's latest did 27k and Post Malone's did 11k.

I think she’ll end up with something similar to Drake, which isn’t bad by any means. But that doesn’t negate from the fact that her numbers could and should have been much higher with a proper rollout of the CD and vinyl.

What I’m confused about is why the rollout of the CD’s, Vinyls, and boxsets seemed so centred to the US when the music on the album is a lot more UK friendly?

Does anyone have first weeks sales for the rest of her studio albums? (and The Carters)?

113,117 - Dangerously in Love

35,012 - B'Day

38,609 - I Am... Sasha Fierce

89,211 - 4

67,858 - BEYONCÉ

73,392 - Lemonade

Not sure about The Carters.

I don’t think Beyoncé has ever had a dedicated UK store. The last 2 releases were propped up by digital sales (which are now obviously non-existent) and with Lemonade we were all forced to buy the music, as it wasn’t available anywhere apart from Tidal.

Still disappointing sales though, but it’s doing well on streaming so hopefully enough to beat B’day’s first week and not be her lowest debut.

You say digital sales are obviously non-existent but they are currently 21.3% of Beyonce's total (which will of course decline) so not non-existent. Low yes, but not non-existent. They can still make a difference....

Loving James Hype and Luude climbing up further to top 30 today.

Eliza Rose 54 *. (A potential BJSC Win and a UK hit at the same time practically!!). No idea where it's coming from though.

The vocal style of the track is quirky and so very TikTok-friendly I think.

It's currently #1 and #2 on Spotify Viral Songs so must be doing pretty decent numbers combined

Disappointing for Bey really but not surprising at all since she didn’t even put the CD up for preorder on UK stores like Amazon and HMV until 10 days ago. You also can’t purchase the vinyl from anywhere but her website so that 13k is just solely CD sales and streaming.

If the vinyl had was up for sale from places like Amazon and HMV, I suspect we’d be seeing something closer to 30k. M

 You think that HMV and Amazon selling the vinyl would have contributed an additional 16,500+ sales?

90% of +20k are doing it thanks to singed cassette, CD, Vinyl bundles and all that different versions.

last week's #1 did 20k [8,333 CDs, 6,945 vinyls, 2,757 cassettes, 520 downloads, 1,756 streaming]

and this is his store. (he also had amazon exclusive signed CD and green vinyl)

obviosuly Beyonce could add nice numbers if she has done this.

I genuinely thought that diabolical Central Cee track had a shot at no.1 this week which would have been a new low for the UK charts but today's figures shows it's got no chance, this week anyhow.

It really becomes tiresome seeing posters scrabble around for excuses!

I thought two other singles from the album would have been top 10 now too but they are already outside on the first update(and I do hope they make it by Friday by the way) maybe there’s just less interest in this era?

There is also a backlash developing over a certain song on the album which I'm sure is not helping
I wish it was 'COZY' or 'CHURCH GIRL' the 3rd track from RENAISSANCE.
Yeah the midweeks say 0 vinyls sold which is a shame, as I assume she would have sold a great deal of them here. I've seen so many people posting theirs on social media here.

2.8k download sales is actually really good by recent standards at least.

Orbital in the top 5 for now *.* lol at 3 The Cribs albums in the top 10 though, I presume they all got a vinyl release this week? Cool to see 'Dig Your Own Hole' making a re-appearance in the top 40 too.

Checking the top 100s, I somehow totally missed that the Fred again../SHM/Future song was doing anything at all so was a bit of a shock to see that in the top 50 - it in no way deserves to be a bigger hit than 'Jungle' boo. Wow at the big rise for Eliza Rose too, not quite a BJSC winner in the end but could be on course to be quite a big real world hit at this rate.
