August 30, 20223 yr I would be fine with Britney and Elton getting a week at #1 tbh just for the achievement and it would be a shame if sales remain close with the top 3 and it missed and then dropped hard. Maybe it's growing on me with repeat listens. I find the Guetta/Bebe Rexha Blue remake a bit too meh and unimaginative.
August 30, 20223 yr I can’t get on with the Guetta track at all, it just feels incredibly lazy. But I can see from the thread in dance that it has its fair share of fans on here so it does feel like it’s going to be really popular
August 30, 20223 yr Elton and Britney will only fall further as the week goes on, especially since you look at the gap between it, LF SYSTEM and B.O.T.A on spotify. Think it might still scrape top 5 though come Friday.
August 30, 20223 yr A little surprised that LF SYSTEM are still clinging on ahead of Eliza but I suppose with both of them having pretty low numbers on Spotify for #1 contenders it's easier for other platforms to make up the difference (also Eliza only has the 2 charting versions while LF SYSTEM have quite a few remixes which aren't top 200 on Spotify obviously but will still be bridging some of the gap so Eliza's lead isn't really as big as it looks). ACR beckons for LF SYSTEM next week anyway I assume. Which I am just realising now means there is probably a pretty decent chance that OneRepublic song is going to make the top 2, wonderful -_- It definitely seems the staggered format release for Kendrick's album denied him a rightful #1 (already seemed clear from the week of its CD release but even moreso now), at least the album that held him off was a great one too so I'm not too salty but still a shame. Hope he has enough sales locked in to return to the top 10 this week which will make it his longest running top 10 album! Looks like the Silk Sonic album finally got a vinyl release too, would be good to see that back in the top 40.
August 30, 20223 yr I can never remember when it comes to bank holidays, is this midweek just the usual Mondays update but released on Tuesday, or is it actually the update for Tueaday that includes all of Mondays sales and Sundays streaming
August 30, 20223 yr It is the Tuesday update, they don't compile a Monday update at all on Bank Holiday weeks.

August 30, 20223 yr I think this is the closest No.1 battle of 2022 so far. I don't mind LF SYSTEM or Eliza Rose being No.1 as they are such great dance tracks.

I doubt it tbh, it’s falling a fair bit on Spotify already out the top 20 and can’t see it quickly rebounding all the way to close to the top again. I can’t see any current release really challenging B.O.T.A once ATF goes to ACR apart from potentially I’m Blue but still too early to tell
