I don’t think anyone’s lost more than a 27 yet.

Not a fan of any of today’s; belated comment that I didn’t know about the Where Do You Go / Missing connection. Missing is superior of course but I still love the No Mercy song.

Impressed by the fact Sash! still have all their songs intact so far (hopefully not speaking too soon though)!

Picture Of You is possibly the only Boyzone track I might have considered granting a point to.

I also love the No Mercy track, nowt wrong with a bit of latin-flavoured pop and it topped my personal charts (but I wasn't allowed to vote for more than 30 faves, boo!)

Heal The World is very sugary. I like well-intentioned sugar :P

Heavy D's Now That We've Found Love is OK but not worthy of the mighty Third World wonderful reggae hit version (twice) nor most stuff from the brilliant O'Jays.

Not too fussed by the others, bar the fab Shanice.

Have I won yet...? Got a feeling the 90's wont be a repeat of the 80's voting... :D

Waited ages for my second vote to appear and it's the same act as the first. Those two (+ Tattva) I've always enjoyed a lot, both great songs from that era.

There's been precious little in the top 100 so far that I have any time for, nothing that came close to making my votes

from the last bunch, Please Forgive Me is the only one I kinda like

but no big losses so far

is the No Mercy song really based on Missing? Never noticed, will have to go and check

I remember being very eurodance and very cheesy but cannot recall any similarity to Missing?

Heal the World is utter tripe, even worse than Earth Song! There was a hilarious live version I saw once where the gospel choir screeched the chorus at the top of their lungs with tears pouring down their face, it read like a parody.

just checked the No Mercy song

it samples Missing in a couple places

but I wouldn't say that it's intentionally based on Missing

To clarify my point. No mercy were allegedly obsessed with the track which lead to their first single in some countries to be the cover of "missing". In order to attempt to have an international hit they knew that "missing" wouldn't work having been a hit in many countries already so they chose a different cover "where do you go" which was less known in the UK and more importantly US. They wanted it to retain "the feel" of "missing" so if you listen to their version of it then " where do you go" you can see the similarity. It isn't a cover or a sample just "inspired by" if you see what I mean.

Released in the Latin infused summer of 99 and was bang on trend.

Eeek at 'Always' dropping out losing me my second to biggest pointed song :( I thought if I was going to lose a couple more of my votes it wouldn't be a big one rather a lower voted one instead. Oops.

I do enjoy Sway too but wouldn't be anywhere near consideration for any points.

Always like rock ballads like Always, but kinda knew it was not gonna do well in here
I do really like Always, particularly as it was in my first few months of following the charts, but cut it in the end. Barcelona is pretty rousing too.
