Finally one of my votes falls! (It's not what I expected it to be actually :o)

I actually heard Love Spreads before I heard anything else by them and I've always really liked it, the refrain and huge guitars sound really epic. Having heard their debut as part of my album bucket list, I do kinda get why it's not seen as a highlight of their discography which just speaks for the quality of the album, but I've still got a liking for it.

Love the debut album of The Stone Roses, but I felt Love Spreads was trying a bit too hard to go all out Led Zeppelin, like The White Stripes with Icky Thump which also came when it was their best chance of a #1. I do really like the follow up Ten Storey Love Song though.

Yes Gezza! Sharing the love for Outside!

Not a massive fan of Love Spreads, but my controversial opinion is that Ten Storey Love Song is greatest Stone Roses single!

Was playing 'Outside' round my mates last week. Hadn't seen the video in ages either. A solid George Michael effort but again wouldn't have come close to voting as there was a lot of good stuff to whittle it down from.

I like Love spreads but for me it's not as good as their epic 1990 number 8 hit 'Elephant Stone' that's definitely my fave of them.

Always found 'Gypsy Woman' a bit overrated. So, I'm surprised it's not top 50 here. :o

Oh I am quite shocked Crystal Waters is the third lowest of the songs I voted for, that is a classic!

Awww my points have taken a bit of a hit there. I think Love Spreads/Second Coming gets far too much hate, I wouldn't say it's better than the debut album but that doesn't make it bad at all considering what a high bar that is. Love Spreads was actually one of the first songs that got me into the Stone Roses and I think it sounds so anthemic.

Got a lot of love for Gypsy Woman as well, it's one of those 90s dance tracks that has probably been overplayed a lot over the years but it doesn't suffer from it imo.

Outside is decent enough but not a patch on the stuff from Older imo.

After being a Stone Roses fan since their first singles when they didn't even have an album out, Love Spreads was a huge let down and the album was even worse, with only 1 really good song (Ten Storey Love Song) and the rest was forgettable and at times unlistenable like that 10 minute opening song :(

Their best song ever is Made of Stone:

Nooooo. The best Stone Roses song is She Bangs The Drums (with Waterfall a close second).
Made of Stone is my fave Roses track too… with I am the Resurrection a very close second
Outside is fab, love that one, and Mmm I bought as well, a great record. Dr Alban, M People, also goodies, Gypsy Woman is OK and I dont recall that Stone Roses much. I know I liked it but havent heard it in 28 years - which cant be said of the others, they all get regular radio play. A fanbase fave I'd say.

Summer block busters used to spawn major hits- this one rudely stopped by Robson & Jerome…

Pulp place all three of their entries in the top 80 making this their first loss!

Made of Stone is my fave Roses track too… with I am the Resurrection a very close second

Made Of Stone is my favourite too.

Big Mistake was pretty close to my vote, funny it had the same peak as Torn but the chart runs couldn't be more different after that.

U2's is a good track by them, suitably epic sounding for the film.

Argh! 2 out in a row!

I knew I’d be one of the few voters for Mis-Shapes, but it’s been a classic for me since 95 - plus a rallying call to those of us who were bullied. Thanks Fiesta for helping me make it top 80 :D

Also love the U2 track - the best of their 90s output imo.

She Bangs The Drums is my favourite Stone Roses song.

I wasn't big on U2 until a few years after 1995, then HMTMKMKM fell into the gap between albums. It's OK but wouldn't say it warrants being their longest running Top 10 hit.
